Board of Trustees MeetingThe Alameda Church of Christ is an incorporated institution with our elders serving as the Board of Trustees. Each year, an open meeting of the board is held. All members are invited to attend. The annual meeting for 2018 is January 14th (1:30 pm) in room 165.

Bible Class: 9 am to 9:50 amPower Hour: A time of Worship for children 3-years-old through Kindergarten. Children are dismissed before the sermon each week and picked up after Worship.Supervised nursery and toddler programs begin at 9 am and end after worship.

Jingle Jam!Jingle Jam is Saturday, December 16th (10 am)! It’s a Christmas Party for the whole family! Sign up to volunteer on the back of today’s Connection Card.

LTCLTC is March 30th-31st. Sign up sheets are on the wall by the Kids Ministry check-in area.

Lights Needed!We need white Christmas lights to decorate for Jingle Jam. If you can lend us a strand(s) for a few days, please contact Anna Spray ([email protected]).

Immunization ClinicTODAY (11:30 am-1:30 pm) Passport Health is providing an immunizat ion cl in ic. Flu & pneumonia vaccines and Vitamin B-12 injections will be available. The B-12 injections are $15. Flu vaccines are covered 100% by your insurance plan, and Passport Health will provide flu vaccines to those without insurance at no cost.

Holiday PoinsettiasHonor a family member or friend by ordering holiday poinsettias! Cost: $5 each. Order forms & money must be turned in to the church office by Wednesday, December 13th. You can pick up your poinsettias after service on Sunday, December 24th.

Purpose 2018 UpdateThank you to all of you who have participated in our annual purpose for 2018. So far, Alameda members have pledged to give $17,068 per week during 2018. If you were unable to purpose, or didn’t complete an attendance card, you have probably already received a letter in the mail which included the cards. Please complete those and drop them in the boxes on the table in the lobby. There are additional cards at that table if you need them. Please help us exceed the 2017 weekly purpose of $17,604.

Help a Family for ChristmasThe Streams of Water Ministry will have their annual Angel Tree set up in the lobby TODAY and December 10th. If you would like to bless a family this year, please visit the Angel Tree after worship today. For more information, contact John Helton ([email protected]).

Food Pantry Volunteer NeededThe Streams of Water Ministry is looking for a volunteer to work in the food pantry every other Wednesday from 10 am–12:30 pm. You must be able to lift 25 pounds. If you are interested or have questions, contact John Helton ([email protected]).

Holiday Basket Food DriveThe Streams of Water Ministry will prepare 90 Christmas boxes that include a frozen turkey, pie, and all the fixings for a holiday meal. Place non-perishable donations in the barrels in the lobby. Place the turkeys in the freezers that are in the café area. Monetary donations are also accepted.
