Easter Candy & Eggs Needed! On Sunday, April 14th we will have a community Easter egg hunt at Kiwanis Park (in the neighborhood across the street). If you would like to donate to this event, please bring individually-wrapped candy & plastic eggs and put them in the baskets around the building.

URGENT NEED! Caseworker Needed! The Streams of Water Ministry is currently looking for a person to fill the position of caseworker on Monday & Wednesday mornings. A caseworker will assess client’s needs, process applications for food, financial assistance, holiday assistance and referrals to other resources. For more info contact John Helton ([email protected]).

A Helping HandThe purpose of “A Helping Hand” is to connect people who have a need with those who can fulfill that need. Check out the board in the cafe area if you have a need (you need a dryer, a bed, a lawn mowed, etc.) or if you have something to donate (a couch, baby clothes, or a service to offer—mow a lawn, change the oil in a car, etc.). Fill out the appropriate card and pin it to the board. POC: Randy Hendrix.

CR Kids & Youth Leaders Needed! The Celebrate Recovery Ministry needs volunteers on Friday nights (6:30-9:30 pm) to help with The Landing and Celebration Place. The Landing is for students 12-17 years old who are struggling to live their lives in a healthy, God-honoring way. It breaks the cycles of dysfunction, giving our students the tools to face life in a healthy and effective way. Celebration Place (CP) is for kids, ages 2-11 years. Knowing that their kids are in good hands allows parents to attend group and focus on God and healing without worrying about finding a sitter each week. Sign up for one Friday per month or serve every Friday. For more information or to sign up, contact Danee’ Link ([email protected]).

MISSIONSMember Missions

Great Cities Missions recruits and trains missionary teams a n d se n ds th e m to m aj o r metropolitan cities in the Latin world. They minister to the team throughout the entire missionary life cycle. Alameda has a long history of planting churches in partnership with Great Cities beginning in 1986 with Ron & Georgia Freitas (Curitiba, Brazil) and continuing with Gordon & Ila Dabbs and Daniel & Kirsty Baird (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). In 2013, a church in La Paz, Bolivia, was planted by a Great Cities team that included Rick & Julie Arce. Through our support of Cristian & Catalina Ospino (2014-2019), we have continued our partnership with the La Paz church. alameda.church/connect/missions
