Product characteristicsChildren still have special nutritional needs even if they are 12 months of age and older. Milk is par-ticularly important for the daily calcium supply. HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk contains es-sential nutrients for growth like iron, iodine and zinc in exactly those quantities your child needs now.The protein content is noticeably reduced, which HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk contributes essentially towards your child’s age-appropriate nutrition. 

Use• HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk is ideally

suited for children from the 12th month as a milky drink for breakfast, with muesli, for bed-time or simply for in-between.

• HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk can be given after any other follow-on milk formulae.

• HiPP 3 ORGANIC is still a suitable and filling bedtime meal until your child is three years old.

Composition

If your child prefers drinking cold milk, cool down the milk in a basin of cold water or in the refrigerator. Tip: To make a satisfying feeding bottle at bedtime, you can thicken HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk by adding

a heaped teaspoonful (approx. 3 g) of HiPP Organic Cereal Pap, e.g. Multigrain.

Important information...on your child’s nutritionUse HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk from the 12th month onward as milk at meals (e.g. for muesli) or for in-between and not as a breast milk substitute during the first 6 months....on your baby’s dental healthHiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk was developed for children from the 12th month and is intended to be drunk out of a cup. If you still decide to offer your child HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk in a feeding bottle, do not let your child suck the bottle for longer periods of time. Frequent or constant contact of your baby’s teeth with liquids containing carbohydrates may lead to tooth decay and result in further health problems. Please ensure regular dental care, from your baby’s first tooth onwards – especially at bedtime.

Boil fresh drinking-water and leave it to cool to approx. 40°-50°C.

Pour 2/3 of the prepared water into the feeding bottle.

Fill the measuring spoon loosely and level with the back of a knife. Put the recommended amount of powder into the feeding bottle.

Close bottle and shake.

Add the remaining water and again shake several times.

Cool down to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C). Check temperature andpour content into a (sippy) cup.

Drinking amount & dosingWe recommend a daily drinking amount of two portions of HiPP 4 ORGANIC Growing-up Milk. Please use the enclosed measuring spoon only. The mentioned drinking amount and the number of portions per day are guideline values. Your child does not necessarily have to empty the cup com-pletely. Use 30 ml boiled water per measuring spoon.

PreparationPlease pay careful attention to the instructions when preparing milk formula. Incorrect preparation or storing a prepared feeding bottle for a longer period of time can be harmful to health, eg. due to undesired bacterial growth.For this reason, always prepare the formula from scratch before every meal and feed immediately. Do not re-use leftovers. Close the opened sachet tightly after every use, store in a dry place at room temperature (max. 25 °C) and use up within 3 weeks. Please do not warm up milk formula in the microwave oven (danger of scalding).
