foundation in 1989, Al-fath has registered significant growth in its business,

thus emerging as one of the most successful trading firms in the Republic of

Information Technology Division

Founded in 1995The Information Technology Division strives to be a collaborative, expert,and responsive entity that is focused on the total customer experience andintent on delivering personalized service and timely support. The IT Divisionis divided into four functions: direct sales, projects, solutions, service, andsupport.All four functions combine to give total customer satisfaction from theirexperience at Al-Fath.

As Al-Fath pushes into new frontiers, it remains dedicated to its originalobjective of helping people improve their lives through technology.

Corporate Structure

As is schematically illustrated in Figure 1, Al-fath has established corporate

structure for efficient and productive functioning of its business management and

operations. The corporate structure is made of two distinct areas, which are as

follows:

Corporate Support Function Units

The centralized corporate support functional units provide support to each

business unit in the areas of finance, administration, and corporate executive

activities related to the planning, development and implementation of Al-fath's

mission, values and policies.

Business Units

Business units that constitute the different trade divisions, each set up as

independent profit center under its specialized business activities in an area of

trade industry. The trading activity under each business unit is structured to

allow business expansion in a vertically integrated way.

Al-fath’s business units are formed by the following six independent divisions,

each representing a specific and independent business unit, offering a specific

group of products and services under its own market distribution network for the

territory of the Republic of Yemen.

Corporate Objectives & Strategies

Each division that forms a business unit within Al-fath functions and operates

under a set of common business development objectives and strategies. These

are structured with flexibility to allow adaptation according to the needs and

requirements of each business unit.

A. Human Resource Development

Our management view is based on a fundamental reality that: central to any

organizational success is the human resource. Thus our management

organizational system is structured to ensure achievement of recruiting and

training dedicated and diligent staff able to work under an environment that

encourages high productivity and high level of achievement. We have

instituted within our organizational system a set of management and

operational guidelines that would ensure prevalence of the right work

environment.

B. Business Facilities

Al-fath's major objective is to ensure that each business unit is fully

supported with essential facilities of appropriate standards to permit the

division to operate and perform its functions under the right image. Such

facilities are to include the following:

1. Sales showrooms with interior decoration and layout compatible to

the product lines..

2. Modern offices supported with appropriate information technology.

3. Support facilities such as those for maintenance and repairs fitted

with essential equipment and tools.

4. Warehouses with proper inventory system.

5. Means of transportation for staff and goods.

6. Other logistical support facilities.

C. Market Development Objectives and Strategies

Al-fath's policy is to ensure that each division operates with pragmatic

market development objectives and strategies, covering the following

areas:

1. To retain customer loyalty, through marketing programs oriented

towards attaining customer confidence and satisfaction..

2. Market entry and penetration strategies are to ensure satisfactory

market positioning of products with the aim of acquiring appropriate

market share.

3. The products and nature of the market must be well studied to

determine and define market segments and market niches for each

product line.

4. The channels of distribution and distribution network must be

planned with future outlook to achieve extensive geographical

coverage in the country.

5. To assess market trend and evaluate performance through periodic

market research.

6. Products and service pricing structure must be set in a competitive

and profitable way.

7. To institute promotional and advertising programs to support the

overall market development plans

8. Maintain continuous supply of products to ensure their availability at

all times.

D. Financial Objectives and Strategy

In conformity with our basic business goal to realize profits, Al-fath's

financial objectives and strategy is set for each division to operate

financially as an independent profit center, to make such divisions self-

sustaining business units, able to generate profit and expand its business

by virtue of its own success. By this approach, each division is to allocate

resources optimally for investment or operational requirements.

Objectives & Policies For Representation

Al-fath’s approach in representing foreign principles is to establish a relationship

in the form of an alliance, aimed at achieving mutual cooperation and

coordination beneficial to the partnership. The business development policy is to

be structured and built on teamwork and shared investment to maximize market

share of the products involved. Overall, the relationship should emphasize a high

level of performance, to enhance positive image and reputation for the products

and support services involved.
