Story of Waleed al-Mugheerah َو�ِح�يًد�ا �ْق�ُت� َخ�َل َو�َم�َن� �ي ن َذ�ْر�

Leave Me Alone (to deal) with whom I created Alone (without any means, i.e. Al-Walîd bin Al-Mughîrah Al-Makhzûmî)

12 َم!ْم�ًد�َوًد�ا َم�ااًل� �ُه� َل َو�َج�َع�َل�ُت�And then granted him resources in abundance.

13 ُه�وًد�ا ُش� �يَن� �ِن َو�ِبAnd children to be by his side!

14 �ْم�ُه�يًد�ا �ُه�َت َل َو�َم�ُه!ًدُّت-And made life smooth and comfortable for him!

15 ِز�يًد� � َأ �ْن� َأ �ْط�ْم�ُع� ي �َّم! ُث

After all that he desires that I should give more; 16 �يًد�ا َع�ِن �ا �ِن �اَت ي �آِل� �ان َك !ُه� �ن ِإ �اَّل! َك

Nay! Verily, he has been stubborn and opposing Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). (Al-Muddaththir 74:16)

17 َص�َع�وًد�ا ِه�ْق�ُه� ْر�� ُأ َس�

I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As Sa'ûd, or to) face a severe torment! 18 َو�ْق�ًد!ْر� !َر� َف�َّك !ُه� �ن ِإVerily, he thought and plotted; (Al-Muddaththir 74:18)[19 ْق�ًد!ْر� �َف� �ي َك �َل� َف�ْق�َتSo let him be cursed! How he plotted! (Al-Muddaththir 74:19)20 ْق�ًد!ْر� �َف� �ي َك �َل� ْق�َت �َّم! ُثAnd once more let him be cursed, how he plotted! (Al-Muddaththir 74:20)

�َظ�َر� ن �َّم! ُثThen he thought; (Al-Muddaththir 74:21)22 َر� �َس� َو�ِب �َس� َع�َب �َّم! ُثThen he frowned and he looked in a bad tempered way; (Al-Muddaththir 74:22)23 �َر� �َب �َّك َت َو�اَس� �َر� ًد�ِب

� َأ �َّم! ُثThen he turned back and was proud; (Al-Muddaththir 74:23)24 �َر� �ْؤ�ُث ي Gْح�َر َس� �اًل! ِإ �ُه�ِذ�ا �ن ِإ َف�ْق�اَل�Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old; (Al-Muddaththir 74:24)25 َر� �ِش� �َب اَل ْق�و�َل� �اًل! ِإ ِه�ِذ�ا �ْن� ِإ"This is nothing but the word of a human being!" (Al-Muddaththir 74:25)26 ْق�َر� َس� �يُه� َص�َل

� ُأ َس�I will cast him into Hell-fire (Al-Muddaththir 74:26)
