Processes:Since Akzo Nobel is a manufacturing business the processes it carries out are conventional. The main elements include production management, sales and distribution management. Exhibit 3 shows the general processes carried out by manufacturing business such as of Akzo Nobel.Physical Environment:Akzo Nobel has given dealerships to private individuals in different locations. Therefore, the physical environment is similar to that of local shops. However, ICI (Akzo Nobel) also has Dulux Model Shops which act as one stop solution where customers can have access to all the products and services including Point of Sale Tinting (POST). The physical environment of these shops is more sophisticated, clean and modern then that of dealers shops, thus, enhancing the shopping experience of the customers.
