DSM Introduces Neocryl B-300
DSM announces the launch ofNeocryl B-300. A unique patentedinert solid acrylic resin, whichobtains enhanced adhesionproperties to plastic substrates towhich adhesion is difficult toobtain. Neocryl B-300 offers abroad formulating latitude as it iseasily soluble in a wide range ofdiluting monomers. It can be usedin energy curable printing inks, overprint varnishes and coatings.
Neocryl B-300 is easilyincorporated into existing systemsand is compatible with a widerange of epoxy, urethane andpolyester acrylates. Compared toconventional inert resins, NeocrylB-300 allows the formulator tomore easily get the desiredcombination of applicationproperties. In magnitude, 20% ofthis resin improves adhesion ofprinting inks to difficult substratesand improves inter-coat adhesionof overprint varnishes andcoatings.
