PJ Day – Stage 3 Canberra Excursion Fundraiser Date: Friday 14 June 2019 Cost: Gold Coin Donation What to Wear: Pyjamas, covered shoes, school hat Food: Normal canteen will be available on the day. Classes will be

having popcorn. Please advise the school if your child CAN NOT have popcorn.

Activities: Students will be participating in a range of ‘Winter’ activities in their classrooms. PBL Visit On Wednesday our PBL mentor Mrs Parker came out to TPS for a visit. She was helping our PBL team conduct our annual review to see how PBL is progressing in our school. It was delightful to see how confidently and respectfully our students interacted with Mrs Parker. Well done TPS! Lip balm In this wintery and windy weather, we are noticing that a lot of students are coming to school with dry lips. Putting some lip balm in your child’s bag for them to use during the day is a great way to avoid dry lips during this cold snap. Tregeagle Biggest Morning Tea Choir Performance Next Friday 14 June, Tregeagle Senior & Junior choirs will be performing at the Tregeagle hall at 10.15am.

Rivers Dance Ensemble Performance at HOTA! Congratulations to Chloe W and Olivia W who performed at the Far North Coast Dance Festival at the Gold Coast Home of the Arts centre on Tuesday. The girls have been tirelessly training every Monday with the Rivers Dance Ensemble to finally perform alongside the entire northern rivers dance ensemble groups. We are so very proud of you and wish that the whole school could be there to see your wonderful performances! Well done girls!

Tregeagle District Zone Cross Country 2019 Tregeagle District competed at the Zone Cross Country at Corndale Public School on Friday and my goodness, what a beautiful setting to compete on! We are very proud of our Tregeagle students plus all the other competing students from Rous PS, Albert Park PS and Wyrallah PS. They completed the race with courage and determination, running their hearts out on what was a very challenging course to say the least! A huge congratulations goes out to Sahara and Violet who made it through to regionals - well done! Nardene Braddon Sports Coordinator
