A qualifying score is required for all awards. All awards must be claimed at the show.

Belgian Sheepdogs – On Saturday, The Belgian Sheepdog Club of America, Inc. offers a High In Trial Rosette to the highest scoring Belgian Sheepdog as well as special qualifying rosettes to each qualifying Belgian Sheepdog.

Manchester Terrier – On Saturday, the American Manchester Terrier Club, District 8, offers a High In Trial Rosette to the highest

scoring Manchester Terrier, JWW and Standard scores combined, as well as a toy to each qualifying Manchester Terrier.

DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER

This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) or an AKC Canine Partners listing number, or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds, except bitches in season, aggressive dogs, blind or deaf dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance.

HEIGHT DIVISION The following lists the required jump height for Preferred, and minimum height for regular agility classes. Judges only reserve the right to measure dogs at the trial who do not possess an official height card.

8 inches for dogs 11 inches and under at the withers 4” Preferred class 12 inches for dogs 14 inches and under at the withers 8” Preferred class 16 inches for dogs 18 inches and under at the withers 12” Preferred class 20 inches for dogs 22 inches and under at the withers 16” Preferred class 24 inches for dogs over 22 inches at the withers 20” Preferred class 26 inches Dogs may be entered at this height at their owner’s discretion

OBSTACLES: Obstacles shall meet the specifications for obstacles in the current edition of AKC Regulations for Agility Trials. All Days there will be No Novice Contact Equipment Familiarization.

CLASSES OFFERED: See the class schedule info above for classes offered on each day. A complete set of rules for all classes is available from the American Kennel Club, 8051 Arco Corporate Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617-3390, or from the AKC web site. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to enter their dog in the correct class. The Trial Secretary cannot make any changes (except for move-ups as noted) after the closing date of the trial. Be sure to check your entry form carefully and make certain you have entered the correct class(s).

NOTE: The International Std and JWW classes are open only to dogs that are eligible to compete in BOTH the Excellent Std and Excellent JWW classes. You may either jump your normal ISC height (14, 18, 26) or height you entered in the regular part of the show.

PREFERRED CLASS INFORMATION: You may not enter the same dog in preferred and regular classes in the same set of shows (cluster).

JUMP HEIGHT INFORMATION: When filling out the entry form, there is a new section at the top of the form for exhibitors to designate whether your dog has a valid jump height card or if your dog needs to be measured. Please check the appropriate box so that the Trial Secretary knows whether to include your dog on the “Dogs To Be Measured List”.




International Sweepstakes Classes

This is a major ISC qualifying event for the May 2016 World Team Tryouts in Hopkins, Minn. Clear run scores from the following International Sweepstakes Classes (ISC) at the ISC jump heights of 14-, 18- and 26-inches may be used to fulfill the minimum requirements to enter the World Team Tryouts of 8 Standard/8 Jumpers With Weaves clear runs at a minimum rate of speed (YPS). In addition, ISC Combined Class winners at these events will receive an invitation to the World Team Tryouts.

A clear run consists of a run without time or course faults. Minimum YPS requirements are waived for these scores, as long as the dog is under the course time set by the judge for that class. Two ISC Jumpers and two ISC Standard scores may be used to fulfill the minimum requirements.

CRATING INFORMATION The trial committees will be working very hard to make the most space available to the agility competitors. However, due to the available crating space, they will be enforcing the following agility area crating area rules. Please work with your fellow competitors to compact space as much as possible. If we all work together, we’ll have enough space for everybody’s dogs.

- No Mats will be allowed in the agility crating areas.

- No un-stackable soft crates

- No X-Pens or play huts.

- No chairs allowed in the crating area.

- No un-entered dogs allowed in the agility area.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS

Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, illegible, telephone or telegraph entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on official AKC form, or photocopies of AKC forms, without the agreement attached are not acceptable.

Entry fees will not be refunded in the event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date, or in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by the Show Committee. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, acts of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee.

Confirmation of entry and schedule of judging time will be sent to the address on the official AKC entry form after the closing date. If an exhibitor has not received a copy of the schedule at least seven days prior to the show, contact the Trial Secretary. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry.

It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee be asked to leave the Trial site. In such case, no refund or any fees paid will be made.

The Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon and Tualatin Kennel Club assume No responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or spectators, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assumes no responsibility for injury to any child not under the control of his or her parents or guardians.

The safety of dogs is of primary concern. By entering the Trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. A dog can be excused at any time if, in the opinion of the Judge, the dog is out of control or unsafe in its negotiation of the equipment.

MOVE-UPS: Move-ups after entries close must be submitted to the Trial Secretary in writing by 6:00 PM PST on Monday Jan. 18

h, 2016. Include dog’s call name, registration number, owner’s name, class you are moving from, and class you are

moving to. Send via mail, or email to [email protected]. No phone move ups accepted.

Day-to-day move-ups will be accepted at the trial Friday-Sunday. Move-ups must be submitted in writing no later than 30 minutes after the trial ends.

REFUNDS: A refund of the entry fee, less $15/day, will be given for any bitch that comes into season, provided that written notification from a veterinarian is provided to the Trial Secretary by Monday, Jan. 18th, 2016. Bitches in season are not allowed in the agility area.




ATTENTION EXHIBITORS

Please clean up after your dogs on the show grounds and at your motel site.

We want to retain these facilities for future events.

Remember, all complaints regarding conduct prejudicial to the sport will be dealt with in accordance with AKC rules by the Show Committee.

This includes dogs relieving themselves on the shrubbery outside the show buildings.

The Show Site will be available to exhibitors at 4:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following Best in Show judging on Sunday January 24, 2016. The agility area will NOT be available for setup until AFTER the rings are set up and the flooring is down. (This is planned for Wed. 1/20). THERE SHALL BE NO DRILLING NOR INTENSIVE OR CORRECTIVE TRAINING OF DOGS ON THE SHOW GROUNDS OR PREMISES. The agility area is available via a side door in Hall E starting at 6:30 AM on trial days (Thursday thru Sunday).

ALL DOGS shall be kept on leash except when in the obedience or agility rings.

All crating must be WITHIN taped and posted areas. Exercise pens will NOT be allowed. Due to space restriction, the show giving clubs reserve the right to require exhibitors to reduce their crating space.

PARENTS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN.

NO FLEXI LEADS, HALTI-TYPE COLLARS OR PINCH COLLARS IN THE BUILDING.

The show-giving clubs are not responsible for the actions or products of the commercial vendors at this show.

THE SHOW COMMITTEES will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident of misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these shows.

ONLY DOGS THAT ARE ELIGIBLE to be shown under The AKC rules shall be allowed within the show precincts.

NO DOGS wrongly entered in a class may be transferred to another class (except Nov A to Nov B moves per new AKC rules).

OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for errors in entry forms, regardless of who may make such errors.

CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.

There will be no refund for duplicate entries.

The Club(s) and Supported entry sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

All trophies must be claimed the day of the show – None will be mailed.

RETURNED CHECKS/INVALID CREDIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry fee. Fees must be paid in guaranteed funds. Checks will not be accepted. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check & credit card. Subsequent returned checks & credit cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.

Entry fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the show secretary.

The show giving Club, the show secretary, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children.

No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, or without the signature of the “Agreement” on the reverse side of the official AKC Entry Form.

GENERAL INFORMATION

♦ All parking is a privilege extended by the show-giving clubs & the Portland Exposition Center. They reserve the right to withdraw this privilege from any person or persons who uses abusive language, argues with parking personnel or attempts to circumvent the rules & regulations. All parking is at your own risk. The show-giving clubs & the EXPO Center assume no responsibility or liability for damages or loss to any vehicle or its cargo.

♦ When Expo Parking Lot is full, exhibitors may enter to unload only but then must go park at PIR. All parking at Expo must be in a lined space or you will be ticketed/towed. All parking in private commercial lots across North Force Ave WILL result in immediate towing!

♦ Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in any landscaped area at the EXPO Center or the lawn & shrubs in the complex across North Force Ave or around the sidewalk area on the north side of the Expo Center. Failure to observe the rules may result in an Event Hearing. Outdoor exercise pens will be provided.

♦ Everyone using this facility is expected to keep & leave the area clean. ♦ Limited handicap parking (with a valid permit) is available for both the general & reserved parking areas.

These spaces will have easy access but may be some distance from the show rings. ♦ All overnight parking units must be self-contained. No dumping of gray water or sewage. There will be a

pump-out service available on Friday, January, 22, 2016 between 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm for a separate fee payable on site.

♦ There will be no access to ANY building from 11:00 pm until 6:00 am. See general information for hours individual buildings will be open.

♦ All vehicles must vacate the premises no later than one hour following Best in Show Sunday, January 24, 2016. No overnight parking on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

LOADING & UNLOADING ♦ A supervised loading & unloading area close to the grooming area (EAST SIDE) will be available. No exhibitor

loading & unloading will be allowed on the west side (North Force entrance) of the grooming area without previous arrangements with the parking contractor. A 20 minute time limit per vehicle will be observed to give as many exhibitors as possible access to this area.

♦ Unloading will begin at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Please refer to the grooming information provided in this premium list for further information on access times.

GENERAL PARKING ♦ General parking is available daily. Enter from the MAIN GATE ONLY. Parking for one attendee vehicle is $8.00 and

a carpool of more than three passengers is $7.00. OVERNIGHT RESERVED PARKING ♦ Those with confirmed reserved RV overnight parking will enter thru the North Force Gate only.

Reserved day of show parking will enter through MAIN GATE ONLY. Please have your reserved parking reservation prominently displayed in your front window.

♦ Assignment of spaces will be made in the order of receipt of reservations. Consideration is given to the best use of the parking spaces available. Oversized vehicles and/or combinations of vehicles will be placed with consideration of space available & keeping fire lanes open.

♦ If you wish to park together, all reservation forms must indicate that request. If you are assigned a row rather than a specific space & wish to be parked next to another RV, you must show up to the grounds together. If power is requested, all RVs MUST pay for power due to limited availability of the power grid.

♦ All vehicles must park as directed by the parking attendants.

♦ RV pumping of gray/black water tanks will be available on Friday, January 22, 2016 between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. (Details will be contained in the envelope you will receive upon arrival).

♦ All overnight spaces are 18 ft by 40 ft. If larger space is needed, a second space must be reserved & paid. If additional space is required or requested, it may be either end to end or side by side.

♦ For overnight parking, 30 Amp Electrical Hookups are available only by prior reservation & payment of a one-time fee of $75.00 for the entire Cluster. You must also bring with you a twelve gauge wire extension cord - minimum of 100 feet in length. Electrical hookups will be limited.

EVERYONE USING THIS FACILITY IS EXPECTED TO KEEP & LEAVE THE AREA CLEAN

Reserved Day of Show Parking to $60.00 for Regular Vehicle & $95.00 for Box Vans & Larger Vehicles. Reserved Day of Show Parking allows you full in and out privileges as many times a day as needed. Please make your reservations early! There will be a limited number of five day, Day Of Show parking spaces available outside the south end of Hall E first come first served basis. Indicate you are an Agility exhibitor on your parking reservation form and request the Hall E parking. Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in any landscape area at the EXPO Center or the lawn or shrubs in the complex across North Force Ave or around the sidewalk area on the north side of the EXPO Center. Failure to observe these rules may result in an Event hearing. Outdoor exercise pens will be provided. Everyone using this facility is expected to keep & leave the area clean. All vehicles must vacate the premises no later than one hour following Best in Show Sunday, January 24, 2016. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING. All regular vehicles will take only one space, box vans & larger vehicles can take one & a half spaces. There will be no access to ANY building from 11:00 pm until 6:00 am.

All RV units must park in the same direction in the row.

All RV units must have a working fire extinguisher & generator exhaust piping.

Car in tow - Limit one per RV - additional fee required - must be attached or readily attached upon arrival or purchase reserved day of show parking.

GROOMING AREA & GENERAL INFORMATION • JANUARY 2016

OPEN HOURS for grooming areas, Halls A, B & C - Tuesday, January 19th 2016, 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday grooming areas will open at 6:00 am & close at 11:00 pm. Sunday, January 24, 2016, the grooming area will open at 6:00 am & close one hour following Best in Show. HALLS D & E: Main Exhibit Halls will be open at 6:00 am and will close each day after Best in Show or completion of specialty/special events.

THROUGHOUT THE BUILDINGS: All chairs, crates and accessories must be placed within designated areas and must not block aisles, door exits or fire extinguishers. Flexi Leads will not be allowed in the buildings.

EXHIBIT HALLS (D & E): No grooming. No x-pens. Your crates may be placed in designated areas during the judging of your breed, but must be removed upon completion of your breed judging.

ALL GROOMING AREAS: Rugs and/or matting will not be allowed. Paper and/or plastic must be used under all pens. Please bring your own paper or plastic. Shavings will be offered for sale in the D Hall for use on top of paper or plastic. Clean Drydeck will be allowed under ex-pens. Bales of shavings will be offered for sale in the grooming area for $10 per bale.

CRATES: Where possible, crates must be stacked and crates with dogs left in the building overnight clearly marked with name and phone number of person to contact in case of an emergency.

RESERVED GROOMING AREA: See Reserved Grooming Form for fee, instructions and information. Reservations for Reserved Grooming will be handled by the Jack Onofrio Dog Shows, LLC staff.

GROOMING AREA FOR DAY USE ONLY: An area will be provided for DAY USE ONLY!

ELECTRIC OUTLETS are adequately spaced. No extension cords across aisles and no electric strips or heaters.

DISHWASHING is not allowed in the restrooms. There will be a dishwashing station provided near the dog wash area.

DOG WASHING: There will be a dog washing area provided in Hall-C & will open Tuesday Eve and close at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

AGREEMENT

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.

Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend, and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons.

INSTRUCTIONS

Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division.

All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.

Dogs listed in the AKC Canine PartnersSM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club’s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box.

Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 233-9767.
