Permanently updated with road holding data from the front and rear axles, the computer varies braking pressure to each wheel to guarantee your Aixam’s balanced steering.If the wheels lock on braking, steering is lost. It then becomes difficult, to avoid an obstacle. The ABS system avoids locking by exploiting road holding to the maximum. By reducing the risk of skidding and maintaining vehicle control, the driver can expe-rience optimum braking on any road surface. Rain, snow or ice - you remain in control in all weather conditions.

In stability tests (chicane, swerve, slalom) all tests have achi eved higher than the legal limit requirement. The tyres ensure excellent road holding and handling. The correct tyre contact with the road is essential and AIXAm takes particular care in the selection of its tyres.

The crash shell dampens kinetic energy during minor impacts utilizing absorbent bodypanels that can recover their shape.
