Emission Inventory

§ Basic Idea: Estimate emission of everything that produces pollution (e.g. transport, power-plants, livestock)

§ Combine geographical information with the type of emitters (e.g. PM10), the intensity and the quantity

§ Create maps that indicate the distribution of the required pollutants (e.g. particle matter over Vienna)
