Note: Installation procedures should be performed in an open network (Wi-Fi or 3G), the V-DATA network does not perform the procedures.

Pre requirement (Remove old MDM Profile – Ex: SAP Afaria, AirWatch, …)

1. Go to Settings on your device.

2. Scroll down and tap General.

3. Scroll to the bottom. 4. Locate Profiles or Device Management just above Reset. 5. Tap on Profiles.

NOTE: If you do not see Profiles then skip to Installing AirWatch.

6. Tap on the top profile (Labeled "MDM")

NOTE: If you do not see MDM Profile then skip to Installing AirWatch.

7. Click the Red Remove button. (If prompted for a password, enter your screen lock password) 8. If any profiles remain after taping Remove, continue removing profiles until none are left. 9. Once all profiles are gone continue to Installing AirWatch. NOTE: Only users who have NOT been migrated to the Office365.If your email Vale is excluded or stop synchronization. Please check the session troubleshoot how to proceed (next page).


Troubleshoot

1. Go to Settings on your device 2. Go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”3. Tap on “Add Account”4. Click the “Exchange”5. Create the email account with the screen information to the next. Server: hybrid.vale.com

Configuration email Vale (Users NOT migrated to Office 365)

1. Go to Settings on your device 2. Go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”3. Tap on Vale`s e-mail account (Exchange > Account)4. Tap on Vale`s e-mail 5. Change the server information: hybrid.vale.com

iOS Enrollment

Go to www.awagent.com, or directly to the App Store, and download AirWatch MDM Agent

If you forget your Apple ID or password, go to https://iforgot.apple.com/iForgot/iForgot.html

You have three methods of authentication. For VALE, you will click on QR Code and scan the code received on your email

Enter your Vale AD credentials. (Username and Password) There is no need to enter the Domain.

Open the agent on the device

Select Device Ownership, “Corporate –Dedicated” (if it is a Company issued device) or “Corporate – Shared” if multiple people will be using the device. “Employee-Owned” if device belongs to the employee. (so Vale can only see and control corporate data)

Accept the EULA Terms of Use. Install Profile screen will open to install the Enrollment. Press Install

If you have a passcode (your device) set you will be prompted to enter the passcode.


Enable Device Management – Click Redirect & Enable


1. iOS Devices

Warning Mobile Device Management “Installing this profile will allow the administrator to remotely manage your phone.” Vale does not gather nor monitor any personal usage information. AirWatch protects Vale email, calendar, and contacts synchronized with Outlook to comply with government regulatiOS. Protecting your personal privacy is of utmost importance and details are provided at the end of this document.

Hit done to finish enrollment


Press Install, at the “Install Profile” popup click Install

Enrollment is complete

There will be a passcode requirement if you do not already have one set, “You have 60 minutes to enter a passcode.” Vale requires you to set a password or PIN to protect your device and the corporate data contained on it. Enter phone password if applicable or create a new passcode if required.

Enrollment Status Success. Click the iPhone/iPad graphic and select Sync, click OK.


Android Enrollment (Before you start)

Download the Airwatch Agent from the Google Playstore

Tap on Install Accept App Permissions to complete installation

Delete any pre-existing Vale email account under “Settings | Accounts and Setup”.

Open the Airwatch agent and click QR Code

Do not click on Server details

An Welcome Message will appear. Click Continue. Agent would ask permissions to

install the Samsung service from the play store


Enter AD username and Password

Press get started to start configuring your device

Note: This step may take 5 – 10 seconds as we are verifying you user information with the AD

Press Continue to give AirWatch agent device administrator permissions

Activate to give permission to AirWatch Agent device administrator permissions

The device is retrieving enterprise setting Note: this would take 2 – 3 minutes to load the information


Check Unknown Sources.

Click Continue to Install on the AirWatch Service. This step might differ, or not be even be requested, depending on your Android device manufacturer.

Accept the permissions Give AirWatch Admin Service device administrator permissions

Download AirWatch MDM Agent from Windows Marketplace

AirWatch MDM Agent shows up on the Home screen

Terms of Use – Accept/Decline

Choose Device Ownership

For completing the Enrollment flow, user needs to enter the Server and Password in Device Settings > Workplace > Add Account.PLEASE, click copy button next to the password in order to copy the password.

User route to the Device settings And Workplace. Click add account

Device Settings > Workplace > Add Account




User enter VALE email address Enter the below Server URL:

Paste the password you copied in Step 7. You may copy and paste it here. After that, click sign in


User enter all the required information, and AirWatch DM is enrolled in the Workplace.
