Growth in industry and infrastructure of the nation is demanding comfort of working environment. Central aircooling is the most economical method to provide comfort to the workmen. Although normal ventilation provides a certain level of comfort, the ease of working efficiency occurs when the air temperature is lower than the body temperature. Airwashers provide cool and filtered air inside. Atmospheric air is sucked in through filters and cooled by water evaporation. Evaporation results into cooling of air by virtue of evaporative pads provided in the airwasher. It has been observed that air cooling increases the efficiency of workmen by more then 50%. It protects from sweating and loss of energy in summer. It is an incentive to boost production. Competition is a concern of every management and therefore methods that raise efficiency should be adopted. The method of providing fresh, filtered and cool air, resulting in lower inside temperature, is highly beneficial and keeps dust and stale air pockets away. Also fumes generated inside will be diluted and forced out.

Airwashers are rigid structure machines and are used to cool the atmospheric air and force it into the working halls. The cooling takes place by evaporation of recirculating water.
