As an undergraduate of the B,.,.oddar Institute 7f Technology" #ol$ata I -ould li$e to say that this
training progra% -as an e/cellent opportunity for us to get to the ground le3el and e/perience the
things that -e -ould ha3e ne3er gained through going straight into a job, I a% grateful to Airports
Authority 7f India for gi3ing us this -onderful opportunity, The %ain objecti3e of the industrial training
is to pro3ide an opportunity to undergraduates to identify" obser3e and practice ho- engineering is
applicable in the real industry, It is not only to get e/perience on technical practices but also to
obser3e li3e e>uip%ent and to interact -ith the staff of AAI, It is easy to -or$ -ith people" but not -ith
sophisticated %achines, The only chance that an undergraduate has to ha3e this e/perience is the
industrial training period, I feel I got the %a/i%u% out of that e/perience,
Also I learnt the -ay of -or$ in an organi?ation" the i%portance of being punctual" the i%portance
of %a/i%u% co%%it%ent" and the i%portance of tea% spirit, The training included AM!!"
V78MET" AD!" C.D8C" 9FRECEIVER" A!M5C!" !MR" RADAR" DME @ I8!, 4e learned %ot
only through theory classes but also by practicals on li3e e>uip%ents, In %y opinion" I ha3e
gained lots of $no-ledge and e/perience needed to be successful in A3iation co%%unication
Engineering, As in %y opinion" Engineering is after all a Challenge" and not a )ob
