In addition, your travelers receive special benefits when they use the card. For example special rates for rental cars, airport lounge access and preferred hotel rates. The break-down of business and private expenses with the AirPlus Corporate Cards, and the AirPlus Private Card as a secondary card, makes the cards more practical to use.
Insurance cover always includedNo one expects an accident. But the AirPlus Corporate Cards anticipate the possibility. As long as the flight or train ticket is paid with the AirPlus Corporate Card or AirPlus Travel Expense Card, travelers benefit from extensive insurance coverage for the whole duration of the business trip. Besides accident insurance, the AirPlus Travel Insurance also includes a more comprehensive insurance coverage while using transportation. Hence travelers can feel more secure on flights and trains, in rental cars and as a guest on hotel premises. Furthermore, the AirPlus Corporate Cards are the only cards that offer this cover to staff entitled to company cars when traveling on business. In addition, travelers receive compensation for delayed, damaged or lost luggage and even for a missed connecting flight due to transport delays.
Security and transparencyAt AirPlus, secure payment and credit card data protection always enjoy top priority. For this reason, the cards come with an embedded EMV chip. Coupled with the use of a PIN, this chip replaces the conventional magnetic strip and enhances security against card fraud. AirPlus also uses the new 3D Secure authentication process for online transactions carried out using AirPlus
cards. A personal greeting and a password selected by the card holder ensure that transactions are only made by the authorized cardholder, which significantly reduces the risk of internet card fraud.
AirPlus Card Control facilitates the immediate control of transactions and even faster reaction times in cases of fraud or false charges. On request, AirPlus informs card holders by SMS and / or e-mail of all transactions in excess of a predefined amount (minimum €50 ) that have been authorized online. Furthermore, rules for card use can be defined. For instance, cards can be blocked from making internet purchases or purchases in certain countries.
Using the AirPlus Corporate Cards also has clear advantages after the business trip.
For example, the clearly-structured credit card statement separates business and private expenses. And since additional data, such as cost centers or staff identification numbers, can be recorded for each card holder, cost attribution within your corporation is never a problem.
Transparent travel expenses Via the AirPlus Business Travel Portal and the Mobile Portal for mobile phones or smartphones, all of your company’s cardholders may access their travel expenses anytime and

anywhere they have internet access. Travel Managers can evaluate and analyze all business expenses via the Management Information Systems – the AirPlus Information Manager or AirPlus Reports on Demand. With expense reporting systems, your AirPlus Company Account or AirPlus Company Account compact, travel data is integrated online to form a comprehensive and detailed statement of all direct travel expenses.

to the German Payment Services Supervision Act (Zahlungs diensteaufsichtsgesetz, ZAG) and is subject to ZAG regulations and the supervision of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority. AirPlus guarantees compliance with the highest safety standards based on further legal regulations, such as the Federal Data Protection Act and EU data protection guidelines, as well as the requirements of Mastercard® and Visa.
AirPlus handles all data processes on its own authority. The customer’s name, account number and all transaction data available to AirPlus are used exclusively for the fulfillment of the customer contract – and nothing else.
The route to your AirPlus Corporate Cards is an easy one.
First, determine which employees receive an AirPlus Corporate Card or an AirPlus Travel Expense Card.
Next, define whether the card payments are processed through your company’s account or through the staff member’s private account*.
Your staff members then send us the card application.
A few days after receipt and approval of the card application, the AirPlus Corporate Card or AirPlus Travel Expense Card will be sent directly to your employee.
Individual designIf your corporation has a branded image, why not place it on the AirPlus Corporate Cards? Upon request, your AirPlus Corporate Cards may be designed specifically for you. For example, you may wish to include your corporate logo on the front. The back is reserved for your customized corporate information, such as a customer service hotline or phone number.
