Now you can reduce health risks on the job, wherever you may be. AirLux 3000 is compact and portable, designed to go where the welder goes. Modular construction lets you stack units for multi-station service. Also mounts to main-tenance carts.

Like all Airlux models, the 3000 traps up to 99.97%* of haz-ardous metal particles contained in welding fumes. Airlux breathes metal so welders don’t have to!

Respirators may be needed and should be chosen by the employer based on workplace conditions and contaminant levels. For information regarding a respiratory protection program, see OSHA 1910.134 requirements. · Manganese & related compounds such as manganese dioxide:Overexposure to manganese and its compounds may cause metal fume fever characterized by chills, fever, upset stomach, vomiting, irritation of the throat and aching of the body. Excessive overexposure may affect the central nervous system. Symptoms may include muscular weakness and tremors. Behavioral changes and changes in handwriting may also appear. Workers exposed to manganese and its compounds should receive quarterly medical examinations for early detection of manganese poisoning. · When welding on chromium containing base material: READ AND COMPLY WITH THE OSHA PERMISSIBLE EXPOSURE LIMITS FOR HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM (CrVI), Fed.
