Description: The air-cooled chiller is factory adjusted and ready for the on-site installation. Each device at the chiller has passed pressure tests and the unit is filled with nitrogen for delivery. The plug-in version includes in addition to the refrigeration part the electrical cabinet and the, for the application optimzed and preset, control. The air-cooled chiller FP-AC290 is manufactured with two refrigerant circuits and with two compressors till a capacity of 230kW and from 260kW to 350kW capacity with three refrigerant circuits and three compressors. Capacity control of the chiller works in 4 steps. All required components are for automatic function and assembled at the factory. The chiller is built on a base frame, made of galvanized steel. The panels and doors can be easily opened or blocked by a cabinet key. The epoxidpolyester—coating is baked at 180°C and provides the very high sur face strength optimum protection. In the machine housing is also the electric cabinet, which is accessible from the out-side by means of lockable doors. The display of the control unit is easily accessible for service purposes. The exhaust fan in accordance to EN 378 in EX-proofed version is installed in the housing and is protected for outdoor installation. The internal space of the casing is monitored by a gas detector that shuts off the power supply in case of refrige-rant leakage and starts the exhaust fan. The chiller is made for indoor or outdoor installation and is manufactured according the EN 378 Design features: - Reciprocating compressor (4 or 6-cylinder Bitzer) - Air-cooled condenser with housing mounted on base frame for indoor and outdoor installation - EC-condenser fans with appropriate control - Refrigerant collector with mounted safety valve to refrigerant migration - Liquid line with filter drier incl. replaceable insert, fill valve, sight glass and check valve - Evaporator is designed as shell & tube heat exchanger - Hydraulic side with sensors at the inlet and outlet, flange connections, a flow switch, filling and emptying possi-bility - Electronic control for evaporator - Suction side with 13mm or 19mm Kaiflex isolation - Electrical cabinet and control, including system-specific software, and optimizer - Control technology accessories and safety devices - Documentation in CAD (standard version or optional special version)
