Horse Shoe Heat Pipe
• Pre-cool the air to be dehumidifcation
and re-heat the air with the gained
energy. Both processes do not need
energy consumption.
• The unit will be installed around an
existing cooling coil.
• Net energy savings of around 30%
compared to standard cooling and
reheat.
• Lower cooling load = smaller chiller/
compressor.
• Efficiencies of up to 65% can be
achieved giving significant energy

MENERGA GERMANY

In December 2010, the architect Ronarcher and the domestic
building services consultant Franz Kramer realised the extension
of a spa area in a low-energy building construction in the hotel
Edelweiss in Wagrain which was first planned and designed in
Austria. This unique concept was rewarded with the Energy
Globe Award Salzburg in 2011.
All components are in accordance with the highest standard of
an energy-efficient architecture. The spa area which is made of
wood only needs 25% of the energy of a comparable spa area.
Two efficient ThermoCond units were installed.

Olympic aquatic stadium in Kvarner bay with a roof construction
that can be completely opened.
Most important was the high energy-efficiency during the planning
phase. The heat and electrical supply is realised with an
integrated combined heat and power unit (CHP).
Three ThermoCond units dehumidify, ventilate and heat the
stadium. The heat recovery efficiency level is up to 90%. In
addition the waste water from the pool as well as the showers and
the filter flush is used as an alternative energy source for the
warm water supply.
