Civil disturbances are a possibility in many localitiesin the United States. Soae .ay be of such proportionsand violence as to require the State Governor to requestthat Pederal troops be used to bring the situation undercontrol and to l~ . f t . 1aw and order. Others may not beof such seriousaess as to wart.nt the lise of troops, butare serious enough to cause local civil authorities torequest local lIIilit~ryco~.anders for assistance andsupport.This plan is issued in support of USAF OPlan 355-10,GARDEN PLOT, and provides basic Juidance for the develop-.ent of plans/procedures required at all levels for AirPorce Reserve support if .ilitary civil disturbance con-trol forces are eap10yed.
