Increased accessibility from the front

• The double insulated design ensures that most accessories can be safely and easily installed

• Control, auxiliary and position switch terminals are mounted at the front on the ACB body for easy access

• The switchboard panel door can be kept closed in the CONNECTED, TEST, and ISOLATED positions

Implementation

• Easy connection in the switchboard thanks to 3 types of main circuit terminal arrangements:

- Front connection to save space in depth

- vertical and / or horizontal rear connections for busbars.• The draw-out type allows visible breaking on the “Isolated”

position (NFC14-100). The “Test” position allows to test the ACB

while having all the control circuits connected.

• The main circuit safety shutters automatically conceal the main circuit contacts on the draw-out cradle when the ACB is drawn out.

- The top and bottom shutters operate independently and can be

separately padlocked in the closed position.

- Up to three padlocks (with ø6 hasp) can be installed on each side

using padlocking unit. (Padlock not supplied)

Control and signalisation auxiliary switches

• Shunt trip devices are available for different voltage supplies. 2 versions are available: “Continuously rated shunt trip” and

“Instantaneously rated shunt trip”. This shunt trip can be itted together with an undervoltage trip to the same ACB

• The trip control device is available in two types: one provides an instantaneous trip to the ACB when the control voltage drops below

the opening voltage, the other provides a delayed trip to the ACB

when the control voltage remains below the opening voltage for at

least 500 ms.

• The auxiliary switches operate during the ACB ON/OFF operation. They are available in 4, 7 and 10 contacts versions.

• The position switch operates to give an indication of the breaker position: CONNECTED, TEST, ISOLATED, and INSERT.

Security and padlocking

• OFF padlock: Permits the ACB to be padlocked in the OFF position. Max. three padlocks with ø6 hasp can be itted. Padlocking is possible only when ON-OFF indicator shows OFF.

When the ACB is padlocked in the OFF position both manual and electrical closing become inoperative, but the charging of the

closing spring by manual or motor operation is still possible.

• An ON-OFF button cover prevents inadvertent or unauthorised op-

eration of the ON or OFF button. It can be locked with up to three

padlocks with ø6 hasp.

• Cable interlock for all the ACBs sizes:– mutual mechanical interlock for 2 or 3 ACBs

– horizontal interlock for ixed or draw-out type ACBs– vertical interlock only for draw-out type ACBs

• Front key lock:- cylinder lock

- castell lock.
