Aims and Considerations sheet Existing Products: How many existing artefacts do you feel you will need to look at? I think that I will need to look at, at least 2 of each type of product, for example, 2 posters, 2 leaflets, 2 bill boards etc. What kinds of artefacts are you expecting to look at? I expect to look at a range of different ones, leaflets web sites, posters, bookmarks etc. What elements will you be looking at to help you with your research? I will be looking at how the products have been produced, what fonts, tones, colours, text and layout that has been used to help get the effect that they are after and that suits the company and the aim of that company. Primary Research: How many people would you hope to question as part of your primary research? I would be hoping for at least 20-30 responses, I feel that this will help to give me a wide range of answers and therefore give me more reliable and detailed results. What age group would you like to target and why? I will be aiming my research at 16-24 year olds and this is because this us the age range that SASH are targeting with their help. What methods will you use? I will comprise a questionnaire that can be shared on survey monkey and can be linked to other social media websites in order to gain more participants. How will you know if your research has been successful? This will be measured by how much the research helps me to understand what will make a good product for a company like SASH. The more replies I can gain from my questionnaire the better, because this means I’ll have more detail that I can go into and view a larger spectrum of ideas.

Existing Products:How many existing artefacts do you feel you will need to look at? I think that I will need to look at, at least 2 of each type of product, for example, 2 posters, 2 leaflets, 2 bill boards etc.

What kinds of artefacts are you expecting to look at?I expect to look at a range of different ones, leaflets web sites, posters, bookmarks etc.

What elements will you be looking at to help you with your research?I will be looking at how the products have been produced, what fonts, tones, colours, text and layout that has been used to help get the effect that they are after and that suits the company and the aim of that company.

Primary Research:How many people would you hope to question as part of your primary research? I would be hoping for at least 20-30 responses, I feel that this will help to give me a wide range of answers and therefore give me more reliable and detailed results.

What age group would you like to target and why?I will be aiming my research at 16-24 year olds and this is because this us the age range that SASH are targeting with their help.

Considerations:Why might you need to be sensitive when carrying out research during this project? This might be something that has effected some of the people involved in the research and may get upset or offended if the wrong thing is said.

Could you face any problems when trying to do this research? If so, is there a way to overcome these?A lack of participants in the questionnaire could pose a problem for me but if this does look like becoming and issue I could simply post the link onto more blogs and sites and hope that this will help to gain some more responses.Where would you expect your finished pieces to be displayed and distributed? These pieces of work could be displayed in bus stops, on bill boards, in schools, colleges etc.

What funding issues might an organisation like SASH face?I think the act that they are not a particularly large and well-known organisation like Oxfam or cancer research for example. People may not feel that this is not quite as much of a worthy or as worrying a concern at the moment in comparison.
