to one and a half billion believers who are widely spread across
the world. With the daily media spotlight on this faith and its
followers it is a religion that is often misrepresented; now its
time for you to explore this world faith for yourself.

is a religion based upon the messages received by the Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh) about God in the 7th century, which were later

spread rapidly and today Islam is the second largest religion in
the world. The Arabic word Islam means "submission," and the
religion's central belief of submitting to the will of God. Islamic
