Hey AIESEC!

Never in my life have I seen such smorgasbord of backgrounds, ambitions, and motivations. As your VP for the next six months, I

hope to get to know all of you and at the same time be able to share myself with you. You will realize that I can be very friendly, but

also very firm. To those who don’t know how I work, I have one rule: Do it good or don’t do it at all. This means that if you have no

intention of giving your orgmates and this organization everything that you have during your term, you might as well resign now. The

principle job description of any AIESECer or UPD student for that matter is to strive for excellence. Leave this unfulfilled, and you are

treating everyone and yourself unjustly.

Communications has three pillars for the year: COMMunity, COMMpetence and COMMpetitiveness. First, I want to immerse you in

a community of creativity and familiarity. I aim to develop your competence through training sessions and proper mentorship. Finally,

I wish to nurture a sense of competitiveness in you for you to be able to demand more, not from others, but from yourself. All of these

may sound so serious and scary at first, but you are here to develop yourself and AIESEC has one of the most intense learning

programs. Remember, the hammer shatters glass but forges steel. You have your team as your support system. Carry and

challenge each other.

Prepare, for the months ahead! Communications Department will be making waves across the campus and the country for the next

six months. Be ready to be part of the movement!

Cheers,

Michael Fua
