Here are list of our departments:

Talent Management (Human Resources) Dept.

•  Talent Management is the functional area known in companies as Human Resources. The main role of the department is to create and maintain a qualitive organizational climate for all the members so that they have a fully integrated AIESEC experience. Its activity consists in coordinating important processes for the local committee such as: recruitment, selection and allocation, learning cycle, evaluation, retention, coaching, keeping members motivated and fully engaged in the activities, reward themfor their achievements and make the resource planning. In the same time, another type of responsibility is creating networking events/social events and making the liaison between the other departments. The Talent Management team focuses on providing the knowledge to members trough trainings, seminars or conferences and by promoting AIESEC opportunities, so that a constant pipeline of top talent is maintained and developed. By tracking the performance, Talent Management is making sure that the vision, mission, and values that guide the organization contribute to their personal and professional development by shaping the leaders of tomorrow who will have a positive impact in the society.

Communication Dept.

•  At Comunication the area of responsibility is communication and the branding of AIESEC UGM; it is our job to get the word out there about AIESEC. In Communication the members create recrutiment campaigns, design promotional material, videos and attend events to raise awareness of AIESEC within the student body at Universitas Gadjah Mada. As member of the Communication team you will have the opportunity to put theory into practice and gain various skills such as communication skills, presentation skills, and writing skills. Communication department is currently split into two teams: Brand Management and Online Promotion/Website. These two teams share the task of promoting AIESEC to externals. The Brand Management team’s responsibility is to represent AIESEC at events and the like. Finally th Online Promotion/Website team handles the AIESEC UGM website and other virtual outlets for promotion. At Comm you have to be creative and have a desire to work with marketing, branding, promotion, and communication. You will also fit well with the Communication team if you have skills in writing, photography, graphic, design, and web design, since these are very valuable skills within the Student Relations field.

Finance Dept.

•  In Finance the main objective is to make sure that the local committee is acting sustainably. The second main task is to make sure the local committee is informed about the financial situation. Finance takes part in making the budget in cooperation with the other fuctional areas based on their expectations for the future. As a member of Finance team you will be in charge of all financial issues related to at least one functional area or project. The typical tasks related to this are to handle payments, get in touch with the booking-system as well as make and sent out invoices to members, companies and organizations. Furthermore, since you will be responsible of the finance in at least one area, you will be attending to functional meetings in the spesific area, to better understand how the area works and therebybring input from a financial perspective. You will keep them informed about their financial situation, and how they are actually doing relative to the budget. For projects, we apply for funds by writing in application. You will therefore gain communication skills, presentation skills and analytically skills in the Finance team. As a member of Financeyou do not need to have in depth skills in accounting. However, you are expected to actively participate in the teamwork, be open, contribution with inputs, ideas, projects and a great atmosphere and thereby taking the team to a higher level. External Relations Dept.

•  The External Relation departments is in charge of contacting the companies interested in supporting AIESEC projects and maintaining the relations with the economic environment, local and national. Our main activity is to obtain feedback concerning our activities and searching for the interested organizations to get involved in our projects, for the local committee’s activity to be relevant for the exterior as well. The main goal is to attract, create and build partnerships with external organizations via different products and platforms that we provide and use to maintain the relationships. Among these is: communicating with companies to develop partnerships/sponsorship, offer professional interns to companies and match them through our own online database, alsohese things and more ensure that we can leverage our external environment in a way that it provides AIESEC with the resources and opportunities to develop its members.

Global Community Development Program (ICX GCDP) Dept.

•  Incoming Exchange GCDP (ICX GCDP). A department focused on developing and organizing social initiatives or projects paving way for community development through many exchange programs. They also help in providing exchanges under social organizational other than its own initiatives. This department deals with all the internal tasks that need to be accomplished in order for the international students who come on an internship in Yogyakarta to have a memorable experience. The team’s aim is to offer them a relevant work experience, the programmer being sold to companies and other non-governmental organizations. This implies finding hte most suitable persons that can contribute to the quality of the experience. You’ll meet people from all around the world! You also could organizing issue-based learning activities, consolidating issue knowledge with Exchange Participants after their participaton in issue-learning activities, creating exchange pipeline to form exchange partnerships, to introduce& incorporate AIESEC’s social exchange program to different non-government organizations (NGO) through sending emails, phone calls and company visits, to promote local internship opportunities to foreign AIESEC entities, to gather cover letters and CVs from foreign AIESEC entities, to research suitable accomodations for incoming AIESEC members and assist them to move into the most suitable on, to pick up incoming AIESEC members at the airport on the arrival day, to accompany incoming AIESEC members in the first few days after arrival to help them with daily livings, phone card, currency exchange, transportation, etc., to answer any incoming AIESEC members’ concerns regarding their life in Indonesia/Jogja, to assist incoming AIESEC members to experience Indonesian/Jogja culture, and to hangout, learn and share with incoming AIESEC members from all around the world.

Global Internship Program (ICX GIP) Dept.

•  The GIP department supervises the availability and matching of various technical internships offered by industries and corporate firms for first-hand experience on the work in that field and help in successful realization of these internships. The department handles Exchange Participants who come down from foreign entities to AIESEC UGM for Management, Educational and Technical internships in companies based in and around Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta has been a booming economic zone, experiencing significant growth and evolution in its socio-economic structure. Upcoming ventures and companies are always on a look out for experienced foreign manpower. ICX GIP acts as a link between these companies and global intern pool. You will be able to: raising internships in local firms for foreign AIESEC exchange participants, upholding the quality of the internship experience of interns and partners, to introduce & incorporate AIESEC’s professional internship program to different business organizations through sending emails, phone calls and company visits, to promote local internship opportunitiesto foreign AIESEC entities, to gather cover letters and CVs from foreign AIESEC entities, to research suitable accomodations for incoming AIESEC members and assist them to move into the most suitable one, to pick up incoming AIESEC members at the airport on the arrival day, to accompany incoming AIESEC members in the first few days after arrival to help them with daily livings, phone card, currency exchange, transportation, etc., and to answer any incoming AIESEC members’ concerns regarding their life in Indonesia/Jogja.

Outgoing Exchange Global Community Develompment Programme (OGCDP) Dept.

• Outgoing  Exchange  Global  Community  Development  Program  department  also  known  as  Outgoing  Exchange  Non-­‐corporate  in  AIESEC  UGM  facilitates  exchange  process  for  students  who  are  willing  to  go  on  an  social  volunteering  abroad.  Social  volunteering  are   the  most   intense   learning  experience   that  AIESEC  offers  and   in   this  way  AIESEC  links  together  global  networks.  AIESEC  provides  the  challenging  opportunity  to  live  in  a  foreign  country  and  gain  relevant  experience  in  areas  of  self-­‐development,  cultural  understanding,   global   issue,   youth   awareness,   etc.Outgoing   Exchange   GCDP  department   mailny   consist   of   a   team   of   managers   who   takes   care   of   assigned  potenJal   interns:   sets   up   the   meeJng,   make   strategic   promoJon,   consults   at   any  stage  during  the  Exchange  process,  facilitates  in  using  different  kind  of  tools  used  for  effecJve   matching,   help   them   to   find   relevant   projects,   build   cooperaJon   with  another   AIESECer   abroad,   etc.   Interns   are   taken   care   all   the   way   from   raising  Exchange  ParJcipant  form  on  the  database  unJl  re-­‐integrate   in  the   local  commiNee  aOer  their  project  is  completed.

Outgoing Exchange Global Internship Programme (OGIP) Dept.

• Outgoing  Exchange  Global  Internship  Program  department  in  AIESEC  UGM  facilitates  matching  process  for  last  year  students  and  recent  graduates  who  are  willing  to  go  on  an   internship   abroad.   Internships   are   the   most   intense   learning   experience   that  AIESEC  offers  and  in  this  way  AIESEC  links  together  global  networks.  AIESEC  provides  the   challenging   opportunity   to   live   in   a   foreign   country   and   gain   relevant   work  experience   in   areas   of  management,   technology,   educaJon,   and   development.   The  difference   between   Outgoing   Exchange   GCDP   and   GIP,   is   that   in   the   Outgoing  Exchange  GIP  we  do  it  more  professional  as  in  a  corporate.  So  we  posiJon  ourselves  as   a   corporate   that   offers   opportuniJes   to   last   year   students   to   have   internship  abroad  and   implement   their   knowledge  or  experiences  before  going   to  more  wider  world.  Outgoing  Exchange  GIP  department  mailny  consist  of  a  team  of  managers  who  takes  care  of  assigned  potenJal  interns:  sets  up  the  meeJng  meeJng  with  campuses,  maintain   relaJonship   with   faculJes   and   relevant   student   council,   consults   at   any  stage  during  the  Exchange  process,  facilitates  in  using  different  kind  of  tools  used  for  effecJve  matching,  manage  interviews  with  companies.  Interns  are  taken  care  all  the  way  from  raising  Exchange  ParJcipant  form  on  the  database  unJl  re-­‐integrate  in  the  local  commiNee  aOer  the  internship  is  completed.
