ASK FCA PROJECTThis is a new Aiesec / Senegal fighting against Cancer project. The overall objective of the project is to participate actively in the regression of cancer. We prioritize the preventive arm. The teams that succeed will choose a number of diseases of cancer, will be formed to help get the message to the target. We do not exclude other educational and preventive activities. Better make people understand what cancer. Educate youth on the dangers of tobacco, Educate women about cervical cancer and breast cancer as well as screening techniques that can be done by itself, provide psychological and emotional support to cancer patients [among others ...]

JOB DESCRIPTIONThe intern will be allocated in one of the sub-teams of the project in which he spots will be allocated by the team leader. There are two sub-teams: the team promotion, financing and team learning.The intern will arrange to provide training on cancer and all cancer-related themes. Preliminary training will be organized.The intern will participate in the organization of all activities and big events of the project.The student will participate in one of the programs of promotion and sharing of Aiesec-Senegal international exchange .

GYES PROJECTGYES project is to educate young people about issues and practices that affect the environment at the global level but from a local perspective through the establishment of a platform for training and exchange. This project will run from November 2013 to February 2014, will focus on young people with micro-focused on protecting our environment and evolving within associations and community groups. For the smooth running of the project, a team of 10 members of AIESEC supported by international students and supervised by professional entrepreneurship and the environment, will coordinate and provide training to participants through seminars conferences, workshops and days of reforestation and clean.

JOB DESCRIPTIONThe intern will be allocated in one of the sub-teams of the project in which his spots will be allocated by the team leader. He also will coach the participants in establishing their micro-projects.The intern will participate in the organization of all activities and big events of the project.The student will participate in the organization of all activities of the project.

THE YES PROJECTThe objective of the YES Program is to create teams that will support organizations and young entrepreneurs on conceiving a business idea and/or develop an existing plan to put it into reality. At the end of the project each team will have a business plan that includes vision and objectives to target markets as well as marketing strategies. International students will work for organizations, and together they will act as advisory and research teams to support local students in their task of creating a micro enterprise.

YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION-General management: creation of a strategic plan, coordination of activities and follow-up-Creating linkages between Senegalese enterprises with other local and foreign enterprises and educational institutions-Providing of know-how and good practices (brochures from other countries, web sites, etc) for implementing and displaying them in Senegal-Financial sustainability: fund raising, proposals for new projects, supplying of templates for financial reports (budgets, balance sheet)

ASK PROJECT

The objective of the ASK project is to fight against HIV/ AIDS in Africa, precisely in Senegal by sensitizations and training peer educators in High Schools.

YOUR JOB DESCRIPTIONInterns shall prepare sessions for delegates. They shall be expected to further develop the content of the trainings together with target Non governmental organizations (NGOs). These sessions focus is peer education on HIV/AIDS for selected high schools within Dakar.Deliver sessions to High school students for them to gain new skills and knowledge of how to curb HIV/AIDS.

L. A. PROJECT

Language Academy project will consist on training at least 20 members of AIESEC and 50 students of colleges in Dakar in English during 8 weeks so that they improve their English capacity.

JOB DESCRIPTIONIntern will have to develop training materials for English courses and will have to deliver the trainings to AIESEC members and in Colleges for other students.The courses will consist in delivering 7 modules: Reading - Grammar - Pronunciation - Vocabulary - Writing - Oral – ListeningThe intern should prepare the topics for discussion during oral expression. The topics cover culture, history, news, economy, sports...interns will follow the participants in their use of language, evaluate them, give them exercises, and establish a strategy to encourage them to speak English
