INTRODUCTION
In the years of our existence, aspiring to deliver the finest
leadership experiences to the city, AIESEC in Ludhiana has
been truly phenomena. Started in year 2013 as an AIESEC
initiative group in Ludhiana. AIESEC in Ludhiana was made an
Official Expansion of AIESEC in India in the same year in the
month of June. In January 2015 , AIESEC in Ludhiana was
awarded as The Best Expansion of AIESEC in India. The growth
of entity in that year was 200%. Being such a new local
committee, we have the broken the orthodox methods and
innovated as a part of youth based organization

Acceptance Note
An AN is an acceptance note which is exchanged between both parties i.e. the EP/EP manager and the TN manager. During matching the EP
provides with the EPAN ( Exchange participant Acceptance Note) and hence the TN manager Provides with the TN-AN. The home LC of the EP
provides with the EP’s Acceptance note. It contains The EP’s Acceptance towards a specific TN. TN AN is to be provided to the Exchange
Participant within 3 working days from when the Exchange Participant sends in his/her EP AN if he/she is selected. Exchange of these
documents is done via EXPA and OP.
Why the Acceptance Note?
An Acceptance Note is a formal approval of the EP being accepted into the specified project along with the specified TN ID that the Exchange
Participant has applied for. It is a formal understanding between the EP/EP Manager and the TN manager/Host LC that the Exchange
Participant has been selected for the specified TN.
Invitation Letter
An invitation letter or an IL is a signed and stamped letter provided by the Host LC to the exchange participant when he/she is selected for
a particular internship in that LC. It is provided so that the Exchange Participant can use it in his/her application for getting a Visa to the
host LC’s country.
VISA ASSISTANCE
Promises from AIESEC in Ludhiana
•To provide the TN AN within 3 working days of receiving the EP AN from the Exchange Participant if he/she is selected.
•To provide EP/EP manager with the Invitation Letter within 4 working days of receiving the EP AN.
•To provide all the documents required to the Exchange Participant for acquiring Visa for the internship.
ENGAGEMENT POLICIES
-Addition to the LC-EP Facebook Group at the time of
match.
-Allotment of a dedicated TN Manager.
-Registration at Discover India (discover.aiesec.in)
–The intern shall be invited to every LC Forum that takes
place while he/she is here.
–There shall be at least one hangout for all interns and the
AIESEC’ers every month.
-Intern will be accompanied by an AIESEC’er to first day of
work.
-Induction of intern regarding country, workplace,
accommodation.
-Information regarding travelling from Delhi to Ludhiana
-Pick up from local bus station/train station./airport
TRAVEL ASSISTANCE
Expectations from the EP:
-The EP is required to inform the TN Manager about arrival details at least 7 days in advance.
-The EP is required to not to trust strangers outside the airport.
-Buy an Indian simcard on the Airport itself.
Ways to Reach Ludhiana from Delhi
1.Plane If it is possible you may be able to get your travel agent you book a connecting flight for you before you arrive. Th is will cost
approximately 60$. Although this is the most expensive of the options is one of the easiest options. From the International
airport you can catch a shuttle to the domestic terminal. There is a help desk next to where you claim your luggage if you
need to ask any questions.
2. Train There are a number of trains that go daily from The New Delhi Railway Station to Ludhiana. The times can be checked on the
internet at www.indianrail.gov.in. If you have any problems you can go upstairs to the foreign tourist office and its opening hours
are from 9am – 5pm. Do not listen to anyone who tells you that it is closed. There are a few STD calling booths in the train station.
3. Bus This is the most recommended means of transport. It is also the easiest means. -Please ask any airport official to guide you
to the shuttle that goes to ISBT . You can hire a cab or an auto-rickshaw for ISBT, Delhi. You can also find Volvo buses for Ludhiana
there. The fare for this bus is $10(approx).
Overnight Stay in Delhi: If you need to stay overnight in Delhi, it is best to arrange a hotel that has an airport pickup service. One
hotel that provides this service and is priced reasonably is Ginger Hotel(Rail Yatri Nivas) or Anoop Hotel
(http://www.anoophotel.com). A number of trainees have used this hotel and found it comfortable and reasonably priced. This is
situated just down from the railway station. Also, do not take a tourist taxi! They are much more expensive. If you get stuck at any
stage, then contact your TN Manager at any time. There are STD calling booths everywhere, just look for a yellow sign.

GLOBAL VILLAGETell us and the city about your self, your city and country, food, apparel
,any thing and everything you would wish to and explore many other
countries by participating in our Global Villages. It is a global love affair
LC FORUMSThe EPs are welcome to all the LC forums such as Team
meetings, department meetings, events and/or conferences.
-The interns shall only be certified for the internship if they complete the internship
program.
-The interns will be required to be regular and punctual at work.
-The interns will be granted holidays only when informed earlier.
-The interns shall be given endorsement letters, signed by AIESEC in Chandigarh only if
they have been regular at work and have completed the internship.
