Words from the MCP electI’ve been in AIESEC since 2012, worked in various roles and the one thing that I learn the most was success only comes from hard work. AIESEC in Finland needs brave young individuals who can empower this entity & unleash it’s potential. All I can promise is a challenging team experience for the MC team which will definately be unique & enriching.

Living & Working Conditions

AIESEC in Finland MC 2015/16 term officially starts on June 1, 2015 &

lasts till June 30, 2016 Transition period for the MC team

2015/2016 starts on May 1, 2015 and lasts till May 31, 2015. Full

participation in Transition period is mandatory for all roles. All selected

MC members will be given small projects from selection onwards.

AIESEC in Finland MC office is located in the city centre of Helsinki, where

every MC member will have his/her own office space provided. Our

MC office has its own kitchen and WC. MC Team has also free access to

sauna and swimming pool located in the office building. :P

Full time roles Part time roles

All full time roles require full

commitment as a full-time job. Work

load - 40 hours/week (except for the

weekends of Conferences and special

events). Each MC member has 20

days of holidays for the term

For part time roles work load is up

to 20 hours/week with clear

commitments & accountability.

Saturday and Sunday are days off

(Attendance at Conferences &

special events is not compulsory)

All the examination periods or other extra commitments of the candidates to MC in Finland must

be clarified during selection period to avoid miscommunication around the future absence of

MCP or MCVPs

Full time MC Members receive

monthly compensation of 580 EUR

before taxes which is sufficient to live.

Additionally, there is daily allowance

with maximum cap of 3016 Euros /

year which is paid according to

procedure defined in Finnish law.

Accommodation costs 230-300

Euros/month in the MC flat. Travel costs

& fees for national conferences and

LC visits are covered. Full or partial

coverage of costs for international

meetings will depend on budget

situation and individual performance.

Part time MC Members receive

monthly compensation of 200 EUR

before taxes. Additional benefits will

be provided according to

performance. Accommodation costs

230-300 Euros/month in the MC flat.

All work related travel costs are

covered. Full or partial coverage of

costs for international conference

will depend on individual

performance.

Selection Working GroupSelection Working Group (SWG) Selection Working Group is a special group of people who are in charge of ensuring the selection process of the new Member Committee. SWG will get to know the MC applicants best by designing the selection process and participating in all the selection stages (screening the applications, hearing the speeches, conducting and analysing interviews, etc.). Being the most familiar with the applicant profiles, SWG will then make recommendations to the General Assembly regarding the best composition of the new MC team. Selection Working Group is selected by the highest decision making power of the organization – the General Assembly, and consists of one Board representative, current MCP, elect MCP and two HR professionals in order to ensure objective and professional election of the MC Team.

Welcome to the application process for the Member Committee Team 2015-16 of AIESEC in Finland. Firstly, I’d like to congralate you for taking this bold step forward in your AIESEC journey. An MC experience has been the most powerful experiences of my AIESEC life and I cannot stress enough on the importance of this application process. I remember last year, when I was in your place wondering if this is the right thing to do? Looking back I realized that the application process itself was so insightful that it helped me a lot to realize who I am, and what are my strengths and weaknesses.. Consider this process as a evaluation for yourself. In the end every single applicant will receive feedback from the professionals in our Selection Working Group.

Considering that currently most of the MC budget comes from sales and grants from foundations, how will you ensure that by the end of your term most of the money is coming from operations and sales?

For you, what comes first, having really good team experience at the cost of lot of money, or really high customer base coming from investments into various channels? Why?

BD Manager In the most efficient way, how would you convert leads to sales? What would be your key channels to gain leads and how will you convert them? How do you handle objections? What kind of environment drives you forward in your work? How will you make sure that you will create this environment around yourself?

As MCVP BD, you’ll have to manage sales for Y2B, GEP/GIP TNs and CSR projects . At the same time you are under pressure to generate up to 50% income for the MC budget. How will you make sure that you do this successfully? Please elaborate.
