Page 1: AIESEC Access Untapped Talent Overview

Present in 113 countries, AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organisation. We strive to achieve Peace and Fulfilment of Humankind’s Potential by increasing cultural understanding and developing young lead-ers. AIESEC impacts youth from all over the world by enabling them to develop their competencies, glob-al mindset and responsible leadership values by facilitating and participating in our Global Internship Program.

AIESEC is a French acronym for Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (International Association of Student in Economics and Management). However, over the years, AIESEC has expanded beyond those fields. To-day, we are a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by youth of different disciplinary backgrounds.

AIESEC began in 1948 to help develop friendly relations between member countries after WW2. In Australia, AIESEC was founded in 1964, and since then has spread to youth from over 14 universities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra.

Our Values

The key difference between AIESEC members and other youth is that we live an integrated development experience where we learn and gain skills that we can apply practically.

Embedded in the organisation is a vast global network that provides many international opportunities, lead-ership development experiences and a network of fel-low peers, creating an environment where our mem-bers can develop valuable skills and connections.
