AIDP new products: We continue to develop and bring to market new innovative science based ingredientsAIDP and Anagenix has entered into an exclusive license and distribution agreement giving AIDP rights to market Anagenix kiwifruit-based ingredients, Actazin™ and livaux™.AIDP is further pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Weishardt International for the sale of its fish collagen peptides brand nAtICOl® into the Us dietary supplements market.
Actazin is a cold-pressed powdered kiwi fruit concentrate that is a natural source of prebiotics, fiber, enzymes and polyphenols which support bowel function. the kiwi used in the production of Actazin are locally sourced in new Zealand, non-gMO Project verified, gluten-free and contain no added sugar or preservatives. Actazin is processed using proprietary technology retaining key nutrients.
livaux is an oral supplement which supports Faecalibacterium prausnitzii (F.prau). Also derived from kiwifruit, livaux contains prebiotics that have been shown in studies to assist in regulating bowel movements. F.prau has been associated with multiple digestive disorders. Because F.prau is sensitive to oxygen, the gut cannot obtain it through supplement probiotics.

digestive health market growing. It seems as though the
market is embracing the “prebiotic” buzzword quicker than

Market news: China Cleans Up Air Pollution
China’s central government issued a document asking
six provinces around Beijing to take measures on limiting
air pollution. the key request is to convert coal burning
furnaces into gas furnaces in power plants, factories, and
community heating. the result is cleaner air which means
healthier living, improved working conditions, and better
ingredient quality for our industry. however, this transition
can still affect us in other ways. to install the new furnaces,
there will inevitably be some down time which will cause
interruption of production. there will of course be costs
associated with the purchase of the new furnaces, labor to
install, and increased utility costs. such costs may be shared
with customers in the form of increased prices.
