Students completing the Diploma and Advanced Diploma at AICL can continue on to the Australian Institute of Higher Education (AIH Higher Educa-tion) to complete their Bachelor of Accounting or Bachelor of Business.

AIH Higher Education provides an attractive path-way toward completing a Bachelor. In accordance with Articulation Agreements between AICL and AIH Higher Education, students completing AICL’s Diplomas or Advanced Diplomas receive advanced standing toward their Bachelor course and will need to complete fewer than the normal three year, 24 unit course.

Students who have a 5.5 IELTS upon entry for an AICL course are deemed to have fulfilled the 6.0 IELTS entry requirement for AIH Higher Education Bachelor courses upon completion of at least 1year Diploma study at AICL.

Course AimThe Certifi cate IV in Accounting qualifi cation provides students with basic accounting skills and trains them to use system in the accounting environment, leading to careers such as accounts receivable and payable clerks, payroll clerks, bookkeepers, general clerical assistants or trainee accountants. Students will learn how to prepare fi nancial reports and fi nancial statements, set up and operate a com-puterised accounting system (MYOB), prepare operational budget, produce job costing information and maintain asset and inventory records.

Course Aim This qualifi cation provides knowledge and skills to plan, devel-op, implement and monitor programs and services for older people. Students will learn skills to assess the needs of older people with complex circumstances and plan and conduct group and recreation programs for older people. Students will also learn how to monitor services, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures and organise an effective work environment.

Course Aim This qualifi cation addresses work in roles that usually involve service delivery, either direct client work and/or community ed-ucation or development projects. Workers at this level operate at an advanced skill level and may also have responsibility for the supervision of other staff and volunteers.

Work Placement Satisfactory completion of 200 hours of work placement is com-pulsory. AICL organises work placement for students to ensure that practicum location shall meet the requirements of the course and that the ‘’real’’ tasks being undertaken in the work-place complement the tasks and learning being undertaken in the course. 1. Obtain the enrolment form from www.aicl.nsw.edu.au, or one of our representative agents in Australia or in your country.

2. Submit your duly filled in and signed* AICL enrolment form to [email protected] or your representative Agent with certified copies of the following:

(a) all your academic qualifications;

(b) evidence of your English language proficiency;

(c) Bio-data page of your passport;

(d) Accommodation form (if you require accommodation)

All documents that are not in English should have certified translations. Original copies may be required upon commencement of the course.

3. If your application is successful, AICL will issue a Letter of Offer (LoO) and Letter of Accep-tance (LoA) for the course you have applied.
