The Central Arava Regional Council is located in southern Israel, adjacent to Jordan and enjoys a peaceful border. The area is comprised of 5 Moshavim (agricultural communities), a regional Center and an eco-tourism community. (2500 forein workers, 500 trainees)
The agricultural industry includes 490 farms that use some of the most sophisticated agricultural methods in the world to cultivate 30,000 dunams.

The Central Arava produces 60% of the fresh vegetable export and 10% of the cut flower export.
