- Responsibilities: Promote health and safety within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working.
Application of programs to remove the hazards from the work place and to correct unsafe work practices. Inspect tools and equipment to make sure they meet safety regulations.
Make sure that personal protective equipment is being used in workplaces according to regulations. Ensure that information on the handling of substances and the precaution to be taken is made available
to all users of the materials including MSDS. Identify and test work areas for potential accident and health hazards and implement appropriate control
measures. Make sure that the organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation in relation to the use of its
plant, equipment and substances, as well as in all workplace activities. Help supervise the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and
recommend remedial action. Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and
legislation. Coordinate emergency procedures (Fire, Security, H2S, Medevac, and BOP). Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of the health and safety program. Recommends or demands necessary action or procedural changes to correct areas not in compliance
with regulations. Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the

- Responsibilities: Inducted by the client HSE Manager on clients HSE standards/life savers and the risk assessment of the
project. Implement HSE objectives for the project, recording progress and performance against them. Review and audit the HSE activities on the project to meet the client’s requirement and work to minimize
risks. Ensure that the risk assessments and mitigation is fully adhered by the contractors. Conduct daily toolbox talks and implement these sessions to obtain optimum results. Proactively implement changes in work site culture to that HSE becomes an instinctive part of day-to-
day operations on site. Introduce positive reinforcement of good HSE behaviors, including management of an intervention
awareness culture. Conduct daily hands-on observations of site conditions, tools and equipment, material handling and
