It is with sentiments of joy that I address these words of heartfelt commendation

to you and all the members of AHEPA Service Dogs for Warriors program for the

gracious support you provide to the noble servicemen of our great nation. These

What a Service Dogs Does . . . .

By the grace of God AHEPA is making a difference ! Our Veterans & their Service Dogs Each DAY 22 Veterans Commit Suicide

Every so often a humanitarian cause comes along that captures our imagination and causes us to stand up and answer the call of duty. So many of our American heroes come home from war physically, but mentally remain on the battlefield. They are imprisoned by their own thoughts, which causes 22 veterans every single day battling PTSD and choose to commit suicide,

rather than live with the effects of their invisible battle scar.

Service dogs or think of them as a medical instrument on 4 legs at $15,000 each have proven to help mitigate the veterans suffering and helping them get their lives together. The service dogs themselves are rescue dogs, just imagine saving a life to

save a life.

You see taking care of our veterans is a sacred obligation that we must all honor. It is with deep gratitude to the whole AHEPA Family for undertaking such a noble effort to help save two lives: the

veteran’s and the service dog that was rescued from a dog shelter.

To date $690,000 (44 service dogs) has been raised plus many more Service Dogs have been pledged. I am proud to say that our expenses to date is ZERO.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “To care for him who shall have borne the battle” With the help of these service dogs, and with the GRACE OF GOD, TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
