AHADITH

A man said: Apostle of Allah!

It seems as if it were a farewell exhortation, so what injunction do you give us?

He then said: I enjoin you to fear Allah, and to hear and obey even if it be an Abyssinian slave, for those of

you who live after me will see great disagreement.

You must then follow my sunnah and that of the rightly-guided caliphs.

Hold to it and stick fast to it.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

Once the Prophet went through the grave-yards of Medina and heard the voices of two humans who were

being tortured in their graves. The Prophet said, "They are being punished, but they are not being punished

because of a major sin, yet their sins are great. One of them used not to save himself from (being soiled

with) the urine, and the other used to go about with calumnies (Namima)." Then the Prophet asked for a

green palm tree leaf and split it into two pieces and placed one piece on each grave, saying, "I hope that

their punishment may be abated as long as these pieces of the leaf are not dried."


DAY OF

JUDGMENT

And fear the Day (of Judgment) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted

from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped. (2:123)

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) paid visit to us,

and saw a dishevelled man whose hair was disordered.

He said: Could this man not find something to make his hair lie down?

He saw another man wearing dirty clothes and said:

Could this man not find something to wash his garments with.

while I was eating. So Allah's Apostle said to me, 'O boy! Mention the Name of Allah and eat with your right hand, and eat of the dish what is nearer to you." Since then I have

applied those instructions when eating. (Bukhari)

Narrated Abu Qatâdah [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhu]:

Allâh's Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] said:

"If anyone of you enters a mosque,

he should pray two Rak'at (Tahiyyat-al-Masjid) before sitting."

Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhu]: One day while the Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] was sitting

in the company of some people, a man came and asked, "What is Faith?" Allâh's Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa

sallam] replied, "Faith is to believe in Allâh, His angels, (the) Meeting with Him, His Messengers, and to believe in

Resurrection."(Bukhari) (in this hadith only 4 are mentioned)


PILLARS OF

ISLAM

[A] Narrated Ibn ‘Umar (radiAllahu anhumaa): Allah’s Messenger (sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Islam is based on (the fol lowing) five (principles):

[1] To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) is the Messenger Allah.

[2] To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.

[3] To pay Zakat

[4] To perform Hajj

[5] To observe fasting in the month of Ramadan.

PURIFICATION

Aboo Maalik al-Ash'aree (radhi-yAllaahu 'anhu) said:

'The Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said:

«Purification is half of eemaan.

And al-hamdulillaah (saying: the praise is for Allaah) fills the Scales.

And subhaanallaah (saying: may Allaah be glorified) and alhamdulillaah fill whatever is between the

heaven and the earth.

And Prayer is a light.

And sadaqah is a clear proof. And sabr (patience) is a shining light.

And the Qur.aan is a proof for or against you.

Every person starts the day dealing for his own soul so he either sets it free or destroys it.» (Muslim)

RAMADAN

The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'ân,

a guidance for mankind and clear proofs

for the guidance and the Criterion (between right and wrong).

So, whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan,

i.e. is present at his home),

he must observe Saum (fasts) that month………”

(2:185)



SADAQAH


Narrated 'Adi bin Hatim heard the Prophet saying:

"Save yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half a date-fruit in charity."


ARABIC

And thus have We sent it (the Qur'ân) down

to be a judgment of authority in Arabic

(13:37)


HAJJ

And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage).

They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel,

they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).

(22:27)

JUMUAH

O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salât (prayer) on Friday (Jumu'ah prayer),

come to the remembrance of Allâh [Jumu'ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salât (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing).

That is better for you if you did but know!

Then when the (Jumu'ah) Salât (prayer) is ended, you may disperse through the land,

and seek the bounty of Allâh (by working), and remember Allâh much, that you may be successful.

[062:009- 010]



KITAABUL

TAWHEED

"And I (Allah) created not the Jinns and men except they should worship Me (Alone)." (51:56)

NAMES OF

ALLAH

And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh,

so call on Him by them, and leave the company

of those who belie or deny (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited for what they used to do.

(7:180)


AQEEDA H

Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]):

"He is Allâh, (the) One.

DUAAS

The comparison of the one who remembers Allah and the one who does not

remember Allah, is like that of the living and the dead

IBAADAH

Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub:

“…..The adorations of the tongue, all good things, acts of worship, and the

Kingdom are due to Allah.”

“Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of

blessing, and a guidance for Al-'آlamîn (mankind and jinn).” (3:96)

Narrated Abu Dhar: Narrated Abu Dhar: I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Which mosque was first built on the surface of the earth?" He said, "Al-Masjid-ul-,Haram (in Mecca)." I said, "Which was built next?" He replied "The mosque of

Al-Aqsa ( in Jerusalem).” Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 55 :: Hadith 585



PROPHETS &

Verily, We have sent the Revelation to you (O Muhammad [sal-

Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) as We sent the Revelation to Nûh

(Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) sent the Revelation to

Ibrâhîm (Abraham), Ismâ'îl (Ishmael), Ishâq (Isaac), Ya'qûb

(Jacob), and Al-Asbât [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qûb

(Jacob)], 'خsâ (Jesus), Ayyub (Job), Yûnus (Jonah), Hârûn (Aaron),

and Sulaimân (Solomon); and to Dâwûd (David) We gave the

Zabûr (Psalms).

(4:163)


This is the Book,

whereof there is no doubt,

a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqûn (2:2)

"….And I am a source of safety and security to my Companions

and when I would go away there would fall to the lot (of my Companions)

as they have been promised with

and my Companions are a source of security for the Umma

and as they would go there would fall to the lot of my Umma as (its people) have been promised.
