FOREWORDOn behalf of the AGSM Career Development Centre, I am proud to present our Full-Time MBA Profile Book showcasing the talented and diverse students who make up our current full-time MBA cohort of 2017.
Here at the AGSM, we prepare great people to do great things and there have been some exciting changes to the program to ensure we are equipping our graduates with the requisite skills to lead businesses into the future.
We have added Entrepreneurship and Innovation to the core curriculum and are focused on expanding our Strategic Consulting Project elective offering, where we place teams of students within Australia’s leading employers to work on strategic business problems, providing tangible real-world experience to our students and providing a fresh perspective and commercial value to our corporate partners.
There are a variety of opportunities for you to engage with our students; offering internship projects; sponsoring Case Competitions; hosting workplace site visits; presenting seminars and workshops; mentoring our student-run industry clubs; or participating in our annual Careers Month. We also have a comprehensive, industry-specific schedule of networking events to encourage students to connect with our employer and alumni community in a more casual setting.

The AGSM Full-Time MBA program is Australia’s foremost and top-ranked MBA platform. Since our first cohort in 1977, the program has enjoyed a close and unique partnership with the Australian business community. CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM The AGSM Career Development Centre partners with our students to provide a highly individualised professional development program, designed to meet the high expectations of our corporate partners and aligned with the delivery of the academic curriculum. Our world class faculty have deep industry expertise and strong network ties to draw from, using live case studies to embed theoretical learning and to engage with business leaders. This allows students to strengthen networks and gain real-world insight into the ever-changing and fast-paced Australian business landscape.
The AGSM MBA is a highly transformational program and the career aspirations of our students will routinely change as they are introduced to new industries, functions and ideas over the course of their studies. The AGSM Career Development Centre strives to ignite the passion of possibility rather than simply placing students and our success is measured on more than statistics.
