When it comes to protecting your crops against night frost, and improving fruit set and pollination, the Frostbuster is in a class of its own. It is effective during radiation- and wind frost, offering protection where no water is available or in orchards that cannot be protected by water. The Agrofrost Frostbuster is trailed between the rows while the powerful fan, driven by the tractor PTO, pushes out heated air on either side of the machine.

A gas burner heats the air between 80 and 90° Celsius. The heated air is blown between the trees through two outlets (one on the left and one on the right). The total surface that can be protected depends on the shape and dimensions of the plot up to a maximum of eight hectares.

The Frostguard was specifically developed to protect vineyards, orchards and plants in tunnels from night frost. It also improves fruit set. Unlike the Frostbuster the Frostguard is a stationary machine that can be fitted with an auto-start system. When the temperature drops below the predetermined level, the system starts the engine, ignites the burner and controls the temperature automatically.

On the Frostguard both the burner and fan is fueled by propane gas - butane and LPG cannot be used as it will freeze if temperatures drop too low. The Frostguard system allows you to start with one or two machines, and then to expand on this in future.

Mechanical soil cultivation has never been easier, you can now prepare seed beds while maintaining the water balance of the soil since the soil is not turned up while it is tilled, and have perfect level top soil without compacting the ground using the Clemens Power Harrow with vertically rotating blades.

The power harrow can be used with a packing roller or for finer cultivation a cage roller for breaking up soil clumps. Clemens power harrows deliver a high degree of soil loosening and aeration.

Working depth is set by means of a hand spindle in combination with the support roller. The friction clutch mounted on the cardan shaft protects both the harrow and the tractor from damage if overloaded.

For optimum results it is important not to cultivate soil during extreme conditions e.g. when it is too wet or the ground is very grassy and overgrown. Large objects should be removed from the ground beforehand so that the soil can be tilled correctly and to prevent premature wear on the tines.

IDEAL Supra

The Ideal Supra is a low volume vineyard sprayer. Thanks to it’s very powerful fan the Supra is also suitable for use in espalier vineyards with leafy plants.

Rhone is a sprayer equipped with inverted suction fan of medium to big dimensions. Inverted suction keeps the fan free from leaves and other soil remains, while the great air volume ensures a proper coverage even in crops with big and leafy plants.

IDEAL Rhone Top

Rhone Top is a sprayer equipped with a trapezoidal-shaped fan with inverted suction. This special “tower” configuration allows a distribution straight to the vegetation to be covered, while inverted suction keeps the fan free from leaves and other soil remains.

IDEAL Mig Plus

Mig Plus is a sprayer recommended for treatments of high trees and open field crops, equipped with a gunhead ventilator. This gun-head is omnidirectional and can be turned up to 230° and vertically inclined up to 110° by the user in the tractor.

The great performances of the ventilator ensure a spray of 25 meters on both sides and a vertical spray of 15/20 meters.

The Powercoup saw is ideal for any pruning work whether it be in forestry, olive-growing or fruit orchards. With the Powercoup’s exceptional cutting quality trees are less likely to develop diseases.

INFACO DSES Safety System

To date, INFACO remains the only electric shears manufacturer to offer an electronic injury prevention system. The Extra Electronic Safety System is an injury prevention system invented and patented by INFACO. It can only be used with the ELECTROCOUP electronic shears.

It consists, in the F3015, of a conductive safety glove, connected to a DSES (Extra Electronic Safety System) specific spiral cable. As soon as the cutting head and the conductive glove come into contact, blade closing is immediately stopped and the blade returns to the open position. The blades can thus no longer close and the accident is prevented.

Unlike reinforced or chain-mail gloves, the gloves used when operating DSES are very supple and thus ensure a high dexterity, which makes working easier.

DSES has been certified by CTC, an organization authorized by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Health.*

INFACO Extension Poles

Fixed or telescopic extension poles specially adapted for overhead work. Like its predecessor, the F3015 has many possible uses thanks to its Standard, Medium and Maxi kits as well as its different lengths of carbon extension poles.

The F3015 can be fitted with a range of fixed and telescopic extension poles ranging from 1.20m to 3.5m, giving a cutting reach of up to 5m above the ground.

The pruning shears are controlled by a micro switch housed in a sliding handle on the carbon fiber tube. A single cable, from the battery to the pole, is required to operate the shear.

MICRON Herbi 4

The Herbi 4 is a hand held spinning disc sprayer for the Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) of herbicides. It can use CDA formulations or traditional water-based products at total spray volumes of only 10-30 litres/hectare. The consistently large spray droplets of around 250 micron minimise any risk of spray drift and fall in a precise 1.2m wide circular spray pattern.

The Herbi 4 is used for band spraying and can treat about 0.4 hectares in one hour. The reduction in mixing and filling operations (with no mixing required with CDA formulations) offers operator safety advantages.

As well as the standard version, the Herbi 4 Xtra model incorporating a handle with on/off liquid flow valve is available.

MICRON Undavina

Designed for weed control in vineyards and orchards, the Undavina features a dome-shaped soft brush design which rolls closely around the base of the plants to ensure maximum weed kill. Due to its flexible structure, it is also recommended for weed control around young plants where it should be used with the vinyl cover to protect the sensitive stems from spray damage.

Plant health is also protected by Micron’s breakaway system which gently deflects and rolls the shield around young plants to avoid damage.

Incorporating proven Controlled Droplet Application technology, Spraydome CDA is a range of adjustable width shielded sprayers which provide cost-effective and economical treatment of weeds in pecans, almonds, pistachios, apples, walnuts and other tree crops.

OSAM A-frame

A light weight equipment carrier for attaching modern equipment for under-vine and tree care. The A-frame is available with the Clemens Radius SL as shown here, for working light soil, Multi-Clean and Rotary Brush for clearing out the suckers and removing weeds from underneath the plants as well as a mower for the area between the vines. The frames can be front or rear mounted.

The A-frames are available in one working width with manual expansion by a maximum of 0.6 m as standard for row widths of 1,40 to 2,90 m.

OSAM BL5 Bin Loader

The Osam BL5 hydraulic self-loading bin trailer is an efficient tool to make sure your harvester set is productive and not waiting on bins.

The BL5 is designed for low profile bin transport applications. The floating centre axle fitted with two travel wheels per side, on their own axles, makes for quick and comfortable loading and unloading.

Bins travel on a two track system fitted with 85mm free-running rollers. The BL5 is equipped with rubber mounted drive pickup rolls for handling plastic bins.

The hydraulic system controls loading, unloading, loader tilt and the load height. A four bin lock system is available as a modular attachment.

SEPPI SMO Series

You no longer need to remove prunings when you use a SEPPI flail mulcher with pick-up rotors to gather and finely mulch accumulated prunings. This results in fast biodegradation, within one season.

The SMO pick-up is suitable for olive cultivations, orchards and vineyards. Mulching grass, prunings and bushes up to 7 cm in diameter. The machine is fast, collects and mulches in one single pass with counter knives inside the casing ensuring perfect results when mulching.

The modular lower pick up kit for material feed can be easily removed to convert the SMO to a standard mulcher.

SEPPI SMWA AVS

The SMWA avs is an offsetting mulcher ideal for areas hard to reach such as ditches, slopes and river banks but also does a great mulching job on steep road sides, orchards and vineyards. Great versatility is achieved by ample side shift in addition to hydraulic angling.

The SMWA avs can work from 90° up-angling to 50° down-angling, independent from the side shift, centrally behind the tractor, or offset to the side, and reach up to 274 cm [198“] to the right of the tractor center line, depending on the working width of the mulcher. Maximum side shift is 136 cm.
