Coaching Schedule PRE- ENGAGEMENT: Our Agile coaches work with your Product Owner and

ScrumMaster to create your Product Backlog—a dynamic master plan that

contains everything that needs to be done in order to release the product—for an

actual project. If your team has already created a Product Backlog, we will carefully

evaluate it to be sure key tasks aren’t missing. Then we establish an engagement

schedule that works for you and your team.

WEEK ONE: We provide the team a stable Scrum foundation and reinforce it

with onsite coaching. Your team will dive into the Product Backlog and plan

their first sprint. We monitor their work and empower them with effective

practices such as User Stories and the Sprint Burn-down.

SPRINT ONE: Everyone straps on their new shoes and goes for their first

all-out run. We support the team and ScrumMaster with remote coaching as

needed to keep them on track.

END OF SPRINT: Our coaches are back on site to help the team evaluate and

learn from their first sprint. We use two key ceremonies to tease out team

experiences and impediments. First is the sprint review or demo. This is where

the team demos the product as-is. The beauty of it is that there is a product to

demo. It’ll be bare-bones, but it will also function. Next, the team will reflect

on what they did, how they did it, and what they’d change about the process.

This is called the sprint retrospective, and it helps your team improve one step

more. Then you’re off and running planning the next sprint.
