Content Marketing & Content Ideas
Why is updating your site important?
Here is a reminder of why updating your website regularly is important:
• It shows your business is active and interested in communicating with your customers
• It makes it easier for potential customers to choose you instead of your competitors
• You can demonstrate your expertise and knowledge
• It can answer questions potential customers may have about you and your business
• Google likes regular content – so it is important for search rankings
• Google likes sites with lots of helpful, unique content – the more pages you have, the more
results you have in searches
• Regular content encourages people to return to your website because they know they will
find something new and interesting
• Interesting content increases the chances that people will share, comment on or link to your
site (and gives you something to ‘tweet’ or share with others)
