The Chairperson tabled the Agenda for the consideration of the Board.
PART – II
The Panel of Examiners was placed before the Board which the Board hereby approves
and recommends for adoption. As required, the Panel of Examiners is drawn separately
and forwarded to the Registrar (Evaluation), School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, in
the prescribed format.
PART – III
Members expressed their satisfaction regarding the nature of questions, evaluation
techniques and results of Examinations held in the academic year 2013-2014 i.e. I-III-V
Semester Oct. / Nov. 2013 and II-IV-VI Semester Apr. / May 2014.

PART – IV: Any specific issue permitted by the Principal.
The Chairperson briefed about the need for revision of syllabus and requested the
members to give their valuable feedback to be incorporated in the proposed revision of
syllabus for implementation w.e.f. 2015-16 for which the honourable members
responded positively.
The Meeting concluded with the Chairperson proposing a vote of thanks.

and recommends for adoption. As required, the Panel of Examiners is drawn separately
and forwarded to the Registrar (Evaluation), School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, in
the prescribed format.

The Board expressed satisfaction over the previous Odd & Even semester [i.e. I-III-V
Semester Oct. 2013 & II-IV-VI Semester Apr.2014] Question Papers pertaining to the
Board and the performance of the students in the I-III-V [2013] and II-IV-VI [2014]
Semester Examinations as reflected in the results are found to be satisfactory.

PART – IV:
Any specific issue permitted by the Principal.
The Chairperson briefed about the need for revision of syllabus and requested the
members to give their valuable feedback to be incorporated in the proposed revision of
syllabus for implementation w.e.f. 2015-16 for which the honourable members

At the outset the Chairperson welcomed the members and thanked them for their
presence and specially for accepting to be a part of the newly constituted BOS. The
agenda was tabled for the consideration of the Board members.
The following matters were discussed
PART –II Preparation of Panel of Examiners
The existing panel of examiners was reviewed by updating their information. As per
the suggestion of the Board members new members were incorporated. Those
examiners from the previous panel, who were unavailable, were omitted. Panel of
examiners was drawn separately and forwarded to the Registrar (Annexure I).
PART - III Review of I and II Semester Question Papers and Results
The pattern of question paper and the end semester question papers were scrutinized.
The members felt that the existing pattern, tests the knowledge of concepts as well as
in depth acquisition of subject matter; so to continue the same pattern.

The question papers of the end semester covered the entire syllabus and each unit had
equal representation. So the members expressed their satisfaction regarding the
question paper.
The Board expressed satisfaction over the results of the previous semesters I & II of
November 2013 and May 2014. The Members were happy to note 100% success. They
were appreciative of the one who stood first with A++ (82.88%)

Dr. B. Ashoka, Chairperson, was granted emergency leave on medical grounds to attend
to his father who was critically ill and Prof. Madhava B.M. – Member and senior
faculty – was authorised to chair the BOS Meeting by the Principal. Mrs. Saritha
D’Souza, member and faculty, has been away on maternity leave. Also, the Board put on
record the leave of absence of Dr. Deepak. Raj. Rao and Dr. B. Nagaraja Murthy.
The Chairperson welcomed the honourable members and tabled the Agenda for the
consideration of the Board.
PART – II
The Panel of Examiners was placed before the Board which the Board hereby approves
and recommends for adoption. As required, the Panel of Examiners is drawn separately
and forwarded to the Registrar (Evaluation), School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, in
the prescribed format in Annexure-I.

PART- III
The Board expressed satisfaction over previous academic years Question Papers and
results. The results of the students are attached in the annexure-II.
PART- IV
Any specific issue permitted by the Principal.
The Chairperson briefed about the need for revision of syllabus and requested the
members to give their valuable feedback to be incorporated in the proposed revision of
syllabus for implementation w.e.f. 2015-16 for which the honourable members responded
positively.
The Meeting concluded with the Chairperson proposing a vote of thanks.
