Abstract: SmartPlant Materials is the market leading solution for project material management on major capex projects. The solution delivers full lifecycle control of project materials, from defi nition, organisation, acquisition and deployment. Tightly in-tegrated with the SmartPlant Enterprise design, fabrication and construction solutions, SmartPlant Materials delivers effi ciency improvements, cost reductions and schedule and risk control during critical phases of project delivery.

In this session we will see how SmartPlant Materials deployed as a tool within the enterprise brings proven value to our customers across the globe. During the last part of this session, you will also learn how Intergraph SmartPlant Spoolgen makes it possible to accelerate the execution of piping projects at lower cost levels without compromising on quality and ac-curacy, which leads to secure creation of value and assures a short-term return on investment. This solution from Intergraph is a proven, industrial-strength application that enables the creation of piping isometric drawings for fabrication and erection from the design created during the detail engineering phase of projects. Customers quote tenfold productivity gains and the elimination of 95% of manual data entry.

As part of Intergraph’s integrated approach to procurement, fabrication, and construction, SmartPlant Spoolgen Plus starts with SmartPlant Spoolgen and adds integrated modules for management of piping data (including pipe supports), weld track-ing and documentation, progress management and reporting, and quality assurance documentation produced in accordance with project engineering standards and local regulations. SmartPlant Spoolgen Plus works with piping data from almost any source and is tightly integrated with SmartPlant Construction. Investment and development on the ‘CAD/Engineer piping workfl ow’ has been on-going for 2 years and you will see the opportunity for cost and time saving that the latest S3D – CAESAR II interface represents. Abstract: Owner operators and primary contractors who are looking for a solution to verify their process and automation de-sign before selecting the automation vendor or process contractor are especially encouraged to attend this session. Attendees will learn the benefi ts, workfl ows, and solutions for early process and automation design verifi cation using Apros’ dynamic simulation software integrated with the SmartPlant engineering suite. This presentation will include solutions for owner opera-tors to generate all basic automation deliverables in a platform-independent manner - yet with fully functional verifi cation. Participants will also hear how the integration of Apros dynamic simulation with SmartPlant helps them enjoy the benefi ts of dynamic simulation during the entire plant life cycle. Apros integrated with SmartPlant helps users save time in model con-fi guration, making it easier to maintain design consistency and increase data integrity. ABSTRACTThis session will introduce some of the “hot” topics and innovative solutions presented during our annual global event, Hexa-gon2012. We will introduce some of the exciting sessions that were presented and many of these will then be elaborated on in further sessions throughout the day.

Learn how Intergraph is bringing the new capabilities in the Engineering & Schematics solution to help your business, lower cost of ownership and the steps we are taking to make deployment easier and faster on projects. We will also share the value propositions of the latest P&ID solutions. We will discuss the business and technical benefi ts of new features in the latest releases of Intergraph Modelling solutions such as SmartPlant 3D, SmartMarine 3D, SmartPlant 3D Materials Handling Edition and SmartPlant Review. The last 12 months have seen the scope of our Intergraph solutions for Owner Operators further increased and the development and launch of important new solutions. We will introduce you to SmartPlant Fusion to man-age unstructured content and we will also address the three key values that have been the mantra for the latest development cycle of the Information Management products: increased performance, enhanced usability and simpler deployment. Material Management will continue to be a key aspect of the days presentations and we will look at enhancements on our Reference Data too (SmartPlant Reference Data) and some innovative developments with SmartPlant Materials, including the release of Business Intelligence reporting. As for Construction Management, we continue to enhance the powerful capabilities of integrated construction planning with SmartPlant Construction. We will discuss some successes of Nexen, NIAEP & Fluor and look at the strategy for mobile technology aligned with our powerful solution.
