COVID-19 Phased Reopening Report

Data Owner: Virginia Beach Public LibraryData Steward: Strategic Data Analyst, VBPLData Custodian: Strategic Data Analyst, VBPL

A summary of customer activity as the Library reopens to the public after the COVID-19 crisis. The report goes back to June 1, 2020. The report will add metrics as services are added. The report will be updated weekly on Mondays.

Phase 1A: Digital Checkouts, Digital Program Attendance, ReturnsPhase 1B: Add Hold PickupsPhase 2A: Add door counts, card registrations, payments, computer sessions, print jobsPhase 2B: In-Person programs and attendance if offered

Digital Checkouts: Number of items checked out on our online platforms (Overdrive, hoopla, RBDigital). Data pulled from OrangeBoy report and may lag behind other reportingDigital Programs: Programs offered as advertised on Library MarketDigital Program Attendance: Attendance as recorded on Library Market. This information is continually being updated and may not reflect the most recent programs.Returns: Checkouts: Number of items checked out in drive-ups, lobby service, Special Services mail, and in-building after Phase 2.Door Counts: Number of customers entering each library buildingNew Cards: New library card registrations processedBill Payment: Number of bills paid by payment type and locationComputer Sessions: Number of logins to public computersPrint Jobs: Number of jobs printed
