Arthur has over 20 years’ experience in business communications and organisation of international

events in Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Europe. Educated in Ukraine as a Russian & English Teacher and Educational Psychologist, in 1992 Arthur moved to the UK where he found his new home and turned his passion for Public Relations

into life time career. After gaining management experiences at various international media, training and events companies, in 2003 Arthur established Advantix Limited – a consultancy firm specialising in organising events and managing communication projects for Natural Resources and Capital Markets. Headquartered in the UK, Advantix Ltd has subsidiaries in Russia and Kazakhstan. Mr. Massimo Meloni is an economist and international

investment expert in the Division on Investment and Enterprise of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

Mr. Meloni provides expert advice to Governments on economic policies, particularly as they relate to promoting foreign direct investment, the legal and regulatory framework for investment (investment codes, corporate taxation, foreign exchange regulations, labour law, competition, international trade, sectoral regulations) and investment promotion institutions.

Within UNCTAD, Mr. Meloni is responsible for the preparation of Investment Policy Reviews for

developing countries and economies in transition, and for the coordination of follow-up technical assistance programs. Investment Policy Reviews are comprehensive evaluations of a country’s policy, regulatory and institutional environment for investment.

He was key author of the Investment Policy Reviews of Brazil, Nigeria, the Dominican Republic, Belarus, Guatemala and Mongolia, and participated in the preparation of over 15 other Investment Policy Reviews. He also organized technical assistance programmes to implement the reports’ recommendations on the policy environment for investment, including tax policy reform, the regulation of different economic sectors, the modernization of the investment legislation, and the strengthening of investment promotion institutions.

Dr Mike Armitage (PhD, MIMMM, FGS, C.Geol., C.Eng.)

is a Corporate Consultant with SRK (UK) Ltd who has over twenty five years’ experience in the industry mainly producing and auditing mineral resource estimates and managing feasibility and due diligence studies.

Mike’s PhD was focused on resource estimation which remains his primary technical skill. Prior to joining SRK he worked on gold mines in South Africa and Zimbabwe. He has written several papers on resource and reserve estimation and reporting methodology and spent several years as joint course coordinator of an MSc in Mineral Resources at Cardiff University, and then as external examiner for the MSc in Metals and Energy Finance at Imperial College, University of London.

At SRK, he is currently mainly responsible for managing feasibility studies and stock exchange Competent Persons Reports on behalf of mining and exploration companies and also audits and

due diligence studies on behalf of investment institutions or in support of mergers and acquisitions.

During his time with SRK he has been both Managing Director and Chairman of the UK practice and SRK Group Chairman and remains Chairman of SRK Exploration Services. He also served as a council member and Vice President of the Geological Society between 2012 and 2015.

ROBIN BIRCHALLDirector, Silver Bear Resources Inc.

Mr. Robin Birchall served as Executive Chairman for the Company from March 2013 to January 2016. Mr. Birchall has

fourteen years of experience in resource corporate finance, most recently with BMO Capital Markets, where he completed a variety of high profile transactions for resource companies. Mr. Birchall has extensive experience financing companies in the former Soviet Union, having completed a large number of financing and acquisition transactions, including the landmark UrAsia financing in Kazakhstan and PhosAgro’s IPO on the London Stock Exchange. Prior to BMO, Mr. Birchall was V.P. Corporate Finance at Canaccord Adams Ltd. and earlier at Brown Shipley & Co. Mr. Birchall earned an MBA from the University of Cape Town, an Msc in European and International Politics from Edinburgh University, a Première Degré en Langues Literature et Civilisation, from Stendahl Université and a BA from Queens University. Mr. Birchall is also the founding director and CEO of Caribbean Americas Energy Ltd.

DORIAN L. (DUSTY) NICOLPresident and CEO, Azarga Metals Corp.

Dorian L. (Dusty) Nicol is President and CEO of Azarga Metals Corp. He is a geologist with over 40 years of

international experience in minerals exploration and mine development and operations. Mr. Nicol has focused on copper, gold and silver for most of his career. He has managed successful exploration programs in North and South America, Europe, Africa and southwest Pacific (Papua New Guinea).

Mr. Nicol has a B.Sc. degree in geology from M.I.T. and a M.A. degree in geology from Indiana University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a Registered Member of the Society of Mining Engineers. Mr. Nicol speaks six languages.

MIKHAIL DAMRINCEO, Kopy Goldfields AB

CEO of Kopy Goldfields is Mikhail Damrin, a Russian citizen born in 1970. He joined the company in January 2009.

Mikhail has studied engineering, mining and economics in both Russia and the UK, with an MSc degree in optical engineering, Moscow Technical University (Russia), a BSc degree in Mining engineering from the Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia), a BSc degree in International Economics from the Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (Russia) and an MBA degree from the Cranfield University (UK).

During 2007-2008, Mikhail worked for Central Asia Gold AB as a senior project manager responsible for corporate development, M&A and planning. He has also held top management positions at West Siberian Resources and Vostok Nafta Investment Ltd. Mikhail Damrin is fluent in English and Russian.

His other assignments include being a board member of LLC Krasny.

NICK CLARKEExecutive Chairman, Central Asia Metals

Nick has over 40 years of mining experience, including 16 years spent within senior management positions in

production and technical services in South Africa, Ghana and Saudi Arabia. Nick served as the managing director of Oriel Resources plc until its acquisition by OAO Mechel for $1.5 billion in 2008. In addition, Nick was managing director at Wardell Armstrong International Ltd, where he managed numerous multidisciplinary consulting projects in the resource sector. He is a graduate of Camborne School of Mines and a Chartered Engineer. Nick is also a non-executive director of Wolf Minerals Ltd. In 2013, Nick was named CEO of the year at the Mining Journal outstanding achievements awards.

DMITRIY SNOPOVChairman and CEO, Exore Ltd

Dmitriy Snopov has almost 20 years of experience in the mining industry. He has studied mining technology at Dzhezkazgan Mining and

Processing Institute (Kazakhstan) and graduated at Karaganda University of Economics (Kazakhstan) with a BSc degree acquired. Dmitry then continued his education with a MBA from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.

From there, he then worked as the Chief of the Procurement Department of Balkhash mining and processing plant at Kazakhmys Corporation (now KAZ Minerals PLC).

Operating his own business since 2005, with the main focus on supplying equipment and spare parts for the biggest mining companies in the region, Dmitriy has been successfully trading until the present day. Having various successful businesses in the related industry, he is currently focused on developing energy and natural resources projects.

Antony Benham is the Chief Operations Officer for IGS (International Geoscience

Services) Limited, an independent company spun out from the British Geological Survey.

Antony has a First Class Honours degree in Geology from the University of Southampton, and a Masters in Mineral Resources from Cardiff University. He has 20 years experience as a geologist in industry and academia and has previously worked on the Witwatersrand and Bushveld Complex in South Africa as a mining and exploration geologist for Gold Fields, and as a geotechnical engineer in Hong Kong for SRK.

He formerly worked at the British Geological Survey where he was involved in many international projects including leading a project on platinum exploration in the UAE, an artisanal gold mining project in Ghana, and as Deputy Project Leader on a major DFID-funded project in Afghanistan from 2004-8.

At IGS Antony has lead a project working at the Geological Research Authority of the Sudan (GRAS), and is the Project Manager on a current three year project in Afghanistan, again funded by DFID, to improve capacity and capability at the Afghan Geological Survey and Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.

Christopher Weafer has worked in Russia and the Eurasia region for nineteen years. He co-founded Macro-Advisory Ltd in

late 2013 and prior to that he held the position of Chief Strategist at Sberbank-CIB, the biggest bank in the CIS-Eurasia region.

Prior to coming to Russia Chris worked as Head of Research for NatWest Markets in Bangkok, Thailand, during the Asian financial crisis of 1997/’98. Before that he was Senior Investment

Manager at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds, based in Abu Dhabi City. He has accumulated over thirty five years’ experience in emerging markets.

Chris is the author of a wide variety of published reports and articles about Russia, Central Asia, Mongolia, Iran and macro oil trends. He is also widely quoted in the international financial press and appears regularly on BBC, CNN International, CNBC and Bloomberg on these and related subjects.

Mr. Rasmussen joined the EBRD in 1995 at the EBRD London HQ

and dealt with energy efficiency in district heating and industrial companies in the former Soviet Union (FSU). He was based in Russia from 1997 to 2013. He was appointed Deputy Country Director for Russia in 2003 and promoted in 2006 to Director of Industry, Commerce and Agribusiness in Russia in with responsibility for the industrial sector (including among other oil field service and energy equipment manufacturing, chemicals, metallurgy, mining, forestry, automotive, retail, agribusiness, telecom and equity funds). Sam is President and CEO of Kincora Copper Ltd (KCC.CN), a Canadian listed copper exploration and development company with assets in Mongolia. He is also an Operating Adviser to Sandown Bay Resource Capital, a specialist mining private equity fund.

Since his executive involvement with Kincora, two equity offerings have been oversubscribed, the Company has been one of the most active copper exploration groups in Mongolia, oxide development studies commenced, discussions advanced for strategic investment, together with an active M&A strategy.
