AGCO Transitions Regina Facility under Parts for the Prairies Initiative

Underscores commitment to agriculture in Western Canada

REGINA, Saskatchewan (April 8, 2010) – AGCO, Your Agriculture Company

[NYSE:AGCO], a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announces

AGCO Parts is demonstrating the company’s commitment to customers in Western Canada by

transitioning its current Regina, Sask. facility into a full-service parts distribution center (PDC).

As a part of the company’s Parts for the Prairies initiative, the Regina location will now have

over $8 million in parts inventory on hand, a 100 percent increase over previous levels. This

transition is a direct response to requests from AGCO’s network of dealers in Western Canada

to provide highly responsive parts and service support to their grower-customers, and AGCO

has answered the call.

Lyndon Lashinski, Regina PDC manager, says “The border created a natural lag when

parts were sent from the PDC in Batavia, Ill. That and the lack of inventory on hand in Regina

has been an issue for dealers in the past. We have many dealers with significant sales volume in

Western Canada and they needed the parts on the ground here in Canada to service customers

better.” Regina has increased stock numbers by over 67 percent and its inventory value by 100

percent. Dealers and customers in Western Canada remain an important destination in AGCO’s

parts pipeline and this expansion highlights that fact.

“Western Canada continues to be an important market for AGCO.  Our roots run deep in

this region, and our objective is to provide industry‐leading parts and service support to our

dealers and grower customers here.  The transition of our Regina facility under the Parts for the

Prairies initiative demonstrates how serious we are about achieving this goal,” said Darrell

Vander Bloomen, director, AGCO Parts Supply Chain.

The transition of the Regina location will ultimately result in faster service to growers

during the busy spring and fall seasons, which dealers have been looking for. “Whole goods and

retail sales of equipment will not and cannot be successful if you can’t support it with quality

parts and service. Having the Regina location as a full stocking PDC will allow us to provide

improved service and faster turnaround for our customers,” says dealer Gerald Swystun of Full

Line Ag in Saskatoon, Sask. Parts turnaround will be cut in half, greatly impacting in‐season

responsiveness. Now, parts will be on 2nd day delivery from Regina by truck, instead of 4‐5 day

delivery from Batavia, Ill. As growers continue to increase the size of their operations, the need

to minimize downtime becomes increasingly important and the expansion of the Regina facility

addresses the trend.

The AGCO Regina PDC is located at 515 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan S4N

6S1. For more information about AGCO, its products and services visit www.AGCOcorp.com.
