After February 1, the fee is $75. The costof the conference includes a continental breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.Registration closes February 25. Herwebinars attracted thousands of gardenersfrom around the country. Kerry is dedicatedto teaching the art of low-maintenanceperennial gardening and landscaping. Herhigh energy approach and ability to mixhumor with practical information is regularlyfeatured on TV.

Her own kitchen garden andnumerous articles have been featured innational magazines including Eating Well,Horticulture, The Boston Globe, CountryGardens and Martha Stewart Living. Ellenis dedicated to growing ornamental ediblesand has been a guest chef on PBS’s VictoryGarden, and HGTV’s Garden Smarts.

Karen is a native plantspecialist and formerPresident of the WildPlant Society. Shevolunteers in the PlantConservation Program for
the New England Wildflower Societyassessing the status of rare species inRhode Island. Karen has publishedarticles on Native plants and works on theRhody Native Project.
DESIGNING WITHTREES & SHRUBS
Dan is the AssistantGrounds Manager ofBlithewold Mansion,Gardens and Arboretumin Bristol, RI. He hasworked with the designand implementation of
new gardens, and the restoration of manyof their landscape features. Dan currentlymanages their Vegetable Garden. He is anexperienced manager of a commercialretail nursery.
CREATING VERTICALGARDENS
Priscilla is founder andPresident of the RhodeIsland branch of theAmerican Begonia Society.She is the former VPof the New EnglandCarnivorous PlantSociety, a certified Tree
Steward, and a RI Certified Horticulturist.Priscilla works as a sales manager for DavidRose Perennials, a wholesale perennialgrower.

Barbara is a profes-sional horticulturist,currently writing aweekly column for TheWashington Post calledA Cook’s Garden. Shehas authored 3 books,
The Garden Primer, Theme Gardens, and herjust published Four Season Farm Gardener’sCookbook. She is co-owner of Four SeasonFarm, an experimental market garden and anationally recognized model for small-scalesustainable agriculture. She previouslyworked as a correspondent on the PBS se-ries The Victory Garden, co-hosted the seriesGardening Naturally on The Learning Channel,and owned her own Landscape Design firm.

Acclaimedauthor of six books and numerous highprofile lectures, Julie is the recipient ofmany national honors and awards includingthe Association for Professional LandscapeDesigner’s Award of Distinction and theHorticultural Society’s Great AmericanGardeners Award for Design. She currentlyruns her own design studio (jmmds.com) inSaxtons River, Vermont.
