Core Management Process
EGR valves Reman will follow BorgWarner General Core Management Policy.
You are expected to return 1 same core for every Reman EGR valve purchasedwithin 365 days after invoicing date.
Once received, the core will be inspected against the BorgWarner coreacceptance criteria. You have 120 days to return the core, otherwise, a surchargewill be invoiced. However you then have an additional 245 days in which you canreturn the core, and providing the core meets the acceptance criteria, thesurcharge will then be credited back to your account.
If you return cores in excess to your outstanding core returns eligibility balance,these will be held in a core bank to be offset against future orders of the same forlike New EGR valve. You will have 365 in which to use Banked cores. If you havenot used your eligible banked cores within this time you may lose your eligibility.
Core Acceptance Criteria
Cores need to be returned in the original packaging, all protection caps andcovers should be used to protect the core. Slight damages to the outside andnormal signs of wear are acceptable.
EGR valves cores need to be manufactured by genuine manufacturer, notdismantled, and hasn’t any broken plastic plugs or connecting Flanges.Each returned core is visually inspected according to the core criteria and thecross reference list, and graded in “A” or “B” quality or “rejected”.
A = 100%; B = 50%; Rejected = 0% of core values
Core inspection report shall be sent by Borgwarner, 10 working days afterrecieving the cores. All old cores must be deliverd at your cost to your advisedBorgWarner sorting station:
