TRAINING

Scheduled training days are available for all ICE customers, offering both operational and maintenance training. Taking place at our dedicated training facility in Nottingham, the schedule comprises a full day running from 10am until 4pm, with lunch provided and an opportunity to chat to the team and fellow operators.

We have a number of training dates scheduled over the coming months - to find out more information or to request the next available dates, please get in touch with the Aftercare team.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• Comprehensive technical support for 12 months including weekend and out of hours support, renewable annually.

• Experienced in house technical team providing telephone and email support to get you back up and running quickly.

• ICE Field Service Engineers available to visit your premises.

REPAIRS

• A return-to-base repair service for all ICE equipment guaranteeing a rapid turnaround to get you back up and running quickly, minimising downtime.

• Based at our service facility in Nottingham, our dedicated team of Technical Engineers are able to quickly diagnose faults and repair equipment to a high standard, using genuine OEM parts.

• Repairs are issued with a bespoke returns number to ensure accurate processing.

• Hire equipment is available if required to avoid production disruption whilst your equipment is being repaired.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE CONTRACT

The ICE Preventative Maintenance Service Contract is designed to provide peace of mind and reliability.

A basic contract would include two scheduled visits per annum, which can be tailored to specific customer sites depending on the number of machines installed.

During each visit, all ICE printers would be inspected and tested to ensure they are operating to factory specification.

ICE GLACIERExtended warrantyWe offer an extended warranty to continue your service from 18-36 months and give you the peace of mind, that should any of your parts fail due to manufacturing faults or defects during the warranty period of your Zodiac equipment, we will cover the cost of both parts and labour.*

Annual health checkAn ICE engineer will visit the customer site annually to perform an inspection on each item of ICE equipment and produce a written condition report.

Replacement partsAll parts fully covered by warranty for 36 months from date of installation (excludes consumables*).

Service exchange facility for critical componentsReplacement part will be sent out same day, complete with packaging to return the original part to ICE.

SPARESICE spare parts have been developed specifically for our machines and are produced to the highest standards.

Our Aftercare team can provide a recommended spare parts package to cover your specific requirements. This is designed to ensure you have the most critical items on site when you need them, maximising efficiency and minimising downtime. All spare parts are held in stock available for same or next day delivery if required.

PRINTHEADSICE thermal transfer printers are fitted with a near edge printhead, a technology that enables the high print speeds and throughput that our coders deliver. The printhead is designed with thermodynamic properties resulting in excellent clarity of all types of print, including barcodes. The design also works with the software within the ICE printers to maximise printhead life.

LABELSPartnered with the leading manufacturers of plain white die cut labels in the UK, we are able to provide matched quantities of ribbon and labels based on planned production, to ensure that you maintain up time.

We are confident that we can provide a fast delivery and competitive prices for volumes of standard or bespoke sizes of plain white labels and work with procurement teams to supply to scheduled requirements.

INKICE offer a range of high performance ink formulations for use with our Viper, Scorpion and Torus coders installed in primary packaging, case and tray coding applications.

From water based to solvent based inks in a variety of colours, the range enables us to meet most substrate and aesthetic requirements - our Aftercare team would be happy to carry out testing on new applications to ensure that we match the correct ink.

RIBBONEach new application is qualified by a sales engineer who will advise our Aftercare team of the specific requirements; substrate, speed, tooling, colour and size of print. From this information, we can match consumables to your requirements and provide bespoke supply packages to ensure that we meet all of your sourcing needs.

All ICE ribbons are certified as Food Safe and manufactured to current quality standards, which are compliant with your manufacturing process requirements. We are aware that most manufacturing facilities will be audited annually, so please get in touch to request the certificates you require and we will provide these for your reference.

We recommend running genuine ICE ribbon on your coder as it has been specifically designed to ensure peak performance and high print quality.

The patented back-coat technology is guaranteed to extend the life of your printhead and the injection moulded cores have been produced to specific tolerances to enable fault free calibration and optimum reliability of your machine.
