I am sick of this continuous potrayal of Africa. Why is there now a second scramble for Africa. Its because it has the riches the West does not have anymore. If locals mine Gold ,Diamonds etc they are considered Bloody!!...If we decide to cull our own overpopulated Elephants you cry fowl. Until you pay the piper and call the tune, then all is honkey dorey...All the locals need is water , shelter, clothing, and food from its own Government direction, like every sovereign country does . You call it "Marlow's hierarchy of needs".Than keep us hooked on aid which only feeds the West and the inept governance. Africa is rich and its leadership is very poor . If Africa secures its borders and ensure mercenaries do not destabilise, then we can have some normalcy. Stop the negative reporting that just dirties all Africa. Its time to give positive reinforcement through bonafide investments. Africans are genuine in accepting visitors and abusing our vulnerability in economic vision makes the situation untenable. "Whom much is given much is expected" Treat Africa with sincerity. Enough of carrot and stick policies.
