Looking for Be"er Performance… Look at your Chassis - Correc've
Exercise Basics - Lorraine Glass
Some"mes we need to take a peek at the structure of our bodies to im-
prove the func"on and performance of it. Correc"ve exercise is a sequence
of exercises used to realign our chassis posi"on (body/posture). Be-er pos-
ture - be-er founda"on, be-er founda"on – be-er performance. In this
interac"ve session we will learn to quickly assess sta"c and dynamic posture
and then review the correc"ve exercise sequences used to address imbal-
ances.
Every Class is a Pilates Class – Understanding Postural Cueing
- Naissa Preston
Group exercise leaders very o1en have a mismatch between the cues we
want to say and the "me we have to say them. We get caught up in priori-
"zing prac"cal movement cues, mo"va"onal cues and coun"ng in the short
"me it takes to perform the exercises we are asking for. Learn how to apply
pilates principles and ideal postural cues to save your words for encourage-
ment. With just a few overall points, you can get your group to move safely
and effec"vely. A basic anatomy review will be accompanied by a par"cipa-
tory workshop.

Interval Training/HIIT - Lana Asuchak
Take your fitness to the next level! High Intensity Interval Training is proving
itself to be one of the most effec"ve ways to get in great shape! The Ameri-

guidelines. No complex choreography, just "med aerobic and anaerobic
intervals with user friendly, athle"c movement pa-erns to increase total
work and energy expenditure. With a myriad of benefits from being efficient
(ideal for a busy schedule); to more calories burned during and a1er a
workout; to pushing the anaerobic zone; to minimal equipment required; to
being a fun, challenging workout – what do you have to lose? Push yourself
to the max!
Correc've Exercise - Terry Kane
For all intents and purposes, all human movement is a series of neuromus-
cular programs or Apps that dictate how we move and func"on. Regre-ably
as we all age, our lifestyle and occupa"on can affect these Apps such that
we don't perform very important programs well and expose ourselves to
increased risk of injury. In this session, Terry will discuss neuromuscular
programs, common pa-erns associated with aging, and strategies to update
these Apps/pa-erns in order to op"mize our func"on and to reduce the risk
of common injuries as we age.
Medita'on 101 - Crea'ng Sacred Space - Suze"e O’Byrne
In our busy, sensory overloaded world, it is difficult to find those moments
of peace and s"llness to connect with yourself and decrease the stresses
placed upon ourselves. Discover ways to create outer and inner sacred spac-
