Proposition by the Author

During each era, God sends spiritual and truthful people (Mujahideen) to protect His religion. At the same time, its God's way to test His people too. God himself has taken the responsibility to protect this religion; therefore it is necessary for each Muslim to truthfully defend their religion and be part of the good people. They need to gain the victory and honor of both lives (life on this earth and eternity). God orders in Quran:" If you stay persistent in promoting your religion, God will ensure your success.

Information in this book is the collection of my knowledge and the quotation from other sources. I hope Mujahideen will benefit from this book and correct and strengthen their weaknesses.

I hope God will reward me and other Muslims who take steps forward good causes.

Peace be upon you Mukhtar Khurasani

Preamble

It is a blessing if one takes steps to satisfy God's Will or prepare himself and other Muslims in this path, especially during this era which is full of cruelty, darkness, disbelief and infidels. Whoever has been given the knowledge about this reality or has the power to execute this action, should thank God. They should take advantage of the moment and try hard to accomplish the mission. It is not an easy path, but for a Muslim, in order to win both worlds, this will be the easiest path and mission. Therefore, it is necessary to take true, honest and strong steps in this path. In the Quran, God has addresses Mujahideen "The men of honor". In other verse He has said: [TC: A verse from Quran: Amongst the believers, there are some true honest promise-keepers; for keeping the promise they made with Allah] Jihad is the action of true honest human. Tho~e who don't have these objectives can't perform Jihad. Even though, they might have the charisma and sincere belief about Jihad, God will not use them in this path until they are perfect humans. It is necessary for the Muslims to purify their souls and make sure to follow the order of God and the tradition of Prophet Mohammad.

God created Muslims with the power to keep their promises. To worship God, don't cheat do not lie, and be foes of Allah's enemies and friends with His friends. A good Muslim must have courtesy to other Muslims and, be harsh on Pagans. A true Muslim must be aware of the situations of other Muslim brothers around the world to share happiness and sorrows with them. Finally, a good Muslim must do Jihad against the enemies of Islam, sacrificing his wealth and soul. When a Muslim is equipped with those characteristics, Allah will reward him with a place in Heaven, as He mentions in Quran: Those who keep their promises with God, are rewarded a place in Heaven. Mujahideen are defenders of Muslims who are invaded by tyrants and depressors; and to accomplish their goals, they're not afraid of any types of enemies/forces.

First lesson

Rules and characteristics of Jihad

Definition of Jihad~ The literary meaning of Jihad is endeavor, but the religious definition is: Sacrificing your life and assets in the name of God against the infidels' aggression is called Jihad.

Rules of Jihad:

Page 6: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

There are many other obligations for Muslims to perform, like praying, fasting, donating and Haj; Jihad against the infidels' of aggression is also like one of those. God has said in the Quran:

1. You are obligated to participate in Jihad against the infidels' aggression. 2. Fight against those who do not believe in Allah and of the Resurrection. 3. Kill the Hypocrites 4. When meet the lines of Pagans' warriors, break them up. 5. Cut the infidels' joints into pieces 6. Those who have faith in God, shall fight the non-believers

PAGE60F8

7. Fight them till they are eliminated and the religion of Allah rules 8. You are permitted to fight those who aggressively depressed by the invaders.

Purpose and Causes of Jihadl.:.

As per Shari'a, Jihad is mandatory under two circumstances:

I. To Repel Cruelty: , I

1- You are permitted to fight the pagan aJgressors to the last drop of your blood; God will assist and reward you for that.

2- Rescue those women, children and elderly who suffer from the aggression of the infidels; and be assured that Allah will help you.

II. To Install the Name of Allah at the till it all:

Fight those infidels till Hypocrisy and seditio~iS ended and the truth (Islam) installed. There is a Hadeeth from Prophet Mohammad {PBUM) which says: When you fight to install the name of Allah above all, you doing ~ihad for His sake. If the above two purpose do not exist, there is no reason for Jihad and one should not endanger himself.

Types of Jihad

There are types of Jihad:

1. Farz-e-Aein [TC: Mandatory to all Muslims around the world, regardless of age, sex, or sect] A good example is the war in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine; Muslim lands invaded by the pagans, Jihad is Farz-e-Aein on all Muslims

2. Farz-e-Kefa-yee [TC: Mandatory t6 a group of men selected by the Caliph/Amir] to go to war against the pagans in any part of the world ordered by the Amir/Caliph.

Provision of Jihad

Electing an Amir/Chief Listening and obeying Amir's orders and instructions

Physical and Mental Preparation 1. Spiritually and Mentally preparing ~he company with the language of Quran

2. Physically and Military Preparation Then

Choosing a target according to Shari' a and fight for it Shari'a Order of: Kill all Pagans' Leaders

The Virtue and Rewards of Jihad

The book of the Quran and [TC: The tradition and words of Mohammad] are full of the deeds and virtues of Jihad; it is difficult to mention all of it here, but I will mention some of them: Almighty God mentions in Quran: Those who were misplaced of their homelands due to acceptance of my orders and participated in Jihad, their sins will be whipped out and will enter Heaven, the most beautiful place to be and the best rewards to receive.

In another verse God says: My people of faith, I will show you a deal you can not reject: You sacrifice your souls and wealth in the path of my Quran and my Prophet, I will open the doors of the Gardens of Heaven to you to enjoy. You can not find a better deal than that.

Prophet Mohammad Said: Translated from Arabic: Spending nights and days in the trenches of Jihad is rewarded by Allah

Translation:

Abu-Horaira says one of the companions of Mohammad was passing through a beautiful and scenic valley; he said: "If these people let me live here, I will live here for the rest of my life and will be praying all the time." He told that to Mohammad, Mohammad responded: "Don ' t do that, because the viliue of one hour of Jihad is equal to the virtue of

Page 11: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

seventy years of worshiping at your home. God will forgive you for all the mistakes you made in your life and will send you to Heaven. Fight against the infidels; small things like washing the dishes in Jihad will be rewarded with entry to \Heaven.

3-Translation!,

The words of Mohammad: "I swear to God - I wish I could fight the infidels until I become Shaheed [TC: Martyred] and come to lie and and could fight the infidels again over and over.

4-Translation:

Fazalat, son of Abdullah said that Mohammad has said: "The only action that will really make God happy is Jihad and there is no other comparable action to this one."

5-Translation:_

Abu-Horaira said that he has heard from Mohammad: "One hour of Jihad is better then the night oflilatulqader [TC: A night of Ramadan when Quran was sent to Prophet Mohammad] at Mecca." .

6-Translation: 1 Abu-Horaira said he heard from Prophet Moh ,mmad: "A Mujahid is as close to God as a person who always prays to God and fasts twelve months a year

7- Translation:

The Prophet said: There are 100 levels in Hearens and the distance between each level is equal to the distance between the earth and the sky-This level is made for the Martyrs. [TC: I have never heard this one before. How could the distance between the earth and the sky?]

8- Translation:

Abi- 'Amama has written a Hadeeth indicating: Those who do not fight for the sake of God, and have not encouraged and helped r thers to fight and have not helped and supported Mujahideen; will suffer miserable life.

9-Translation: , - ,

Abi-Mas'ood- AI-Ansar had said: A man came to Prophet Mohammad who had a tamed camel with him. He said, he wants to donate the camel to be used in Jihad. The Prophet told him: on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will reward you with 700 camels.

Questions about Jihad and Mujahideen and Shari'a Based Responses

First Question: Is strong faith and financial strength necessary for Jihad? Answer: Virtual and financial strength is needed, but strong faith is a must.

A man came to Prophet Mohammad and said: I want to do Jihad and become Muslim. The Prophet said: Become Muslim first than go to Jihad. Financial strength is needed, but it does not mean that Muslim must make an atomic bomb first than do Jihad. You take advantage10f any type of weapon available to do Jihad. Secoltld Question: Is it necessary to have a Caliph or Amir-al-Momineen present to order Jihad? Answer: The existence of an Amir-al-Momineen is not necessary, but to install an Islamic Emirate and have an Amir-al-Momineen; Jihad is necessary. There are many Hadeeth from Prophet Mohammad indicating ~I hat the Prophet had said: A group of my followers will fight to the end, to the day of re urrection to keep Islam alive, and till Jesus son of Mariam kills the anti-Christ. Today, th re are some Muslim leaders who have been fighting against the pagans for years. Thb most popular ones are:

• Head of AI-Qaeda, Sheikh Osama • Head ofTaliban, MULLAH Mohammad-Omar • Head ofIslamic Party of Afghanistan, Gulbuddin ((Hekmatyar))

There are some others too, who have been performing their religious duties in the best of their abilities.

Third Question : Before starting Jihad, should the pagans be invited to accept Islam? Answer: That would work if Muslims have their own glorious government and the Caliph send a troop to a pagan nation to fight. Prior to sending the troop, he send an invitation to the head of that state indicating to either accept Islam or pay taxes to the Islamic Emirate; otherwise get ready for a fight. Now, we are living in a reversed situation. The pagans have invaded our land and are kicking us from our own lands and charging us with all kinds of accusations. Now it is our duty to murder them and kick them out of our territories.

Fourth Question: Is it necessary to ask for the permission of your parents to go to Jihad? Answer: The issue of asking permission comes to play when Jihad-e-Kefa-ei discussed. Now, Jihad-e-Aein is mandatory for the parents. They must encourage their children to join the Jihad, and the parents themselves must joint the Jihad too. Because it's an order coming from Allah, no one can reject it.

Page 13: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

Fifth Question: How about fighting for the benefit of others and asking the hypocrites and pagans for help?

Response:

Allah says: Every Muslim must sacrifice his soul and wealth in Jihad against the infidels, with thl:: intention of rewards from Allah, not for personal profit or anyone else profit. According to many Hadeeth from the Prophet, fighting for or asking pagans for help is not permitted. There are some contradictions among the scholars in that respect:

l. If Muslims are in terrible need of the pagans help. 2. The help has nothing attached in return and has no condition. 3. There is no conspiracy behind the assistance granted 4. By receiving the assistance, Muslit,s are being defeated in war 5. The assistance does cause the superiority of the pagans to become a rule of the

Muslim Fighters. I

6. Receiving help from pagans can not be! permitted by the commander of the Jihad [TC: Meaning some one with a highet authority must make the decision] According to Abu-Hanifa it is ok to re4eive help from one pagan to fight against another. : In today's world, most Muslim Leader$ are using that provision to their advantage

I

and have thrown themselves to the feef of the pagan leaders for help.

Sixth Question: What are the results of Jihad? Response: Jihad is an order made mandatory by God. We must not worry about what the results might be. Muslims must fight with the pagans and never make friend with them. Jihad has the following results:

1. Rescuing the oppressed from the tyranny of tyrants 2. Keeping the name of Allah shining above all 3. Killing the Pagans 4. Revealing Pagans conspiracy against Muslims 5. Gaining booties/windfalls from the infidels 6. Retaking the overtaken territories 7. Becoming martyred for the sake of Allah 8. Eliminating conspiracies made by the pagans 9. Bringing Muslims together in one line of war 10. Strengthening Muslims' relationship with their faith via Jihad

Page 14: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

Seventh Question:

What about suicide attacks? Response: Suicide attacks are committed by people with strong faith to Islam. God has mentioned high rewards for them in Quran which is hard to discuss here. One must refer to Quran and Hadeeth and history to learn more. That is used when no other weapon is effective and not possible to use.

Eight Question:

What about destroying/wasting public properties? Response: Mujahideen must avoid destroying public properties and causing damage to ordinary citizens, but if the pagans are hiding in the public property and Mujahideen attack to kill them and the property is destroyed, its ok. Muslims must stay away from the infidels at all times.

PAGE 16 OF81

Ninth Question: How about fighting under the command of hypocrite and an adulterer? Answer: I

Fighting in the same front or under the command of an adulterer is permitted. There are many Hadeeth proving that. Adultery is a personal sin and fighting in the path of God has a higher status and God will forgive and reward him for his efforts in Jihad.

Tenth Question: What is the verdict on beheading the seditiouSlhYPOcriteS? Answer: Killing pagans in the Jihad battlefield is allow d. For the reason of being the easiest way to kill them, that way the soul separates the b~dy very quickly; besides it creates fear in those infidels who are alive. Killing a spy:

The Prophet has permitted to kill a spy-There are several Hadeeth indicating that.

Second Lesson Types offarfare

There are many types of war. Few types are listed below: 1. Military warfare 2. Guerilla warfare 3. Terrorist warfare

Page 15: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

4. Intelligence warfare 5. Propaganda warfare 6. Proxy warfare 7. Economic warfare 8. Atomic warfare 9. Street Fight

It is important for us to know our fight is against the infidels who are led by America; in this competition we will face different kinds of wars and it is beneficial to learn about a few of them.

1-Military warfare

I

In this current era, this warfare is being fought against the Muslims in various parts of the world; the purpose of this is killing the Muslims, keeping them away from their religion and controlling the Islamic nation's economies. This warfare is generally achieved in the following three means:

1. Air power 2. Ground forces 3. Marines

For example: the American military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

2-Guerilla warfare

This war is being fought by the Muslims against the infidels and the oppressive forces in this new world order. The purpose of this is to send the infidels back to their own land and free our seized lands. This warfare always starts with small groups who use small arms such as Kalashnikovs, PKs, rockets, bombs, etc.

Guerilla warfare starts offwith zero and starts going higher, which means guerilla fighters start off with eliminating their weaknesses by moving toward strengthening the activities which help them move closer toward military operations.

Qualities of a guerilla fighter.:. A guerilla fighter must be physically strong, capable of handling an escape, roaming around in the mountains, able to handle hunger, thirst, sleeplessness and other difficulties. It is also important to have knowledge of small arms and explosives because he will have to handle everything by himself.

Its is not important for a guerilla fighter to be a person of strong faith, and even those who have personal interest and purpose or tribal disagreements because of wealth or greed can be utilized, as well as people who have escaped the enemy's oppressions, especially those who disagree with the enemy, etc.

For example, in Afghanistan it is possible to use the former communist parties' militias or those so-called Muslims to fight against the Americans. It is important for the guerilla

Page 16: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

fighters to protect themselves at any cost. The enemy should be attacked at their weakest point and the guerillas should try to keep themselves still when the enemy is strong. It is important for guerilla warfare to take place in the seized territories. For this reason, in guerilla warfare, the local people are very important because the guerilla fighters can hide themselves within the local civilian communities and use their friends for military and logistic support, such as monitoring the enemy for the guerilla fighters. It is important for the guerilla fighters to have the loyalty and sympathy ofthe local people and take advantage of their weakm:sses, etc.

Note: Initially guerilla warfare starts off with the enemy's weak targets and moves toward its stronger ones; for example, like the killing of its spies, the killing of those soldiers who are on their way home for leave, destroying those merchants who provide supplies to the enemies, etc.

At this time, guerilla warfare is going very well in Afghanistan and Iraq, for the guerilla fighters against the Americans and thanks G09 for that.

3- Terrorist warfare This war is being fought by a special faction and group of Muslims against the enemy. Its intent is the killing of our enemies and imposiNg our demands upon them. For example, the AI-Qaeda Mujahideen want the Americansi to leave the lands of the Muslims and stop supporting Israel.

Qualiti<es of a terrorist fighter.:. It is important for a terrorist fighter to be strong in his beliefs because he has to live between such people who would have opposing views. For example, a terrorist fighter might have to live in Europe or America and he has to change his appearance so that he is not detected by the enemy. A terrorist fighter must have a strong will because he might have to stay in the same place for a long period without any work. It is important for terrorist fighters to know about destroying their targets as much as possible . It is also important that they would have enough knowledge about the police and intelligence methods.

Note: In a terrorist combat, the enemy's first lines of defense and military strengths are not as much the target, but rather in the middle or behind the enemy lines there are targets which can be destroyed. For example, the economical targets such as regional economic centers in the U.S., a political target such as in Africa (American Embassies) and the military targets (The U.S. Department of Defense, Pentagon).

For carrying out these terrorist activities, a powerful organization is needed which would be also financially strong. It cannot be carried out by anyone person or people from the general population.

Note: In terrorist fighting, there is not a specific target or battlefield. The fighter goes after the political and economical targets to find the weak points to damage the enemy financially and politically; like hitting the World Trade Center in New York and the American Embassy in Africa, which were beautifully preplanned and well organized. You do not need an army for a terrorist attack; you just need smart, well organized intelligence and very few individuals to accomplish the task. There is no assigned timing for accomplishing such tasks. It ' s done whenever the opportunity is there.

4-Harb-al-Medan [TC: Street Fight]: Definition: It 's the type of war taking place in a city and its surroundings. Its objective is to destroy the enemy's military, political and financial facilities.

Important points to consider for performing a successful street fight:

1. Obtaining precise intelligence about the enemy' s facilities. 2. Determining enemy' s weakest point 3. Designing a vivid plan of action.

4. The context of the action plan mus~ kept secret. 5. Choosing the most skilled individullis to do the job 6. Only light weapons like pistols, Kalashnikovs and grenades are used. 7. The plan of action must consist of a surprise comprehensive all sides attack 8. Taking advantage of wide roads, huge buildings and construction. 9. As a precaution, having a backup force to support you, if needed . 10. Dividing the action group into two section: An offense and a defense group

Street Fights are done in three stages:

First stage is: To surrollnd the target and cut all access ways/roads to the target Second stage: Forceful attack to eliminate the security forces inside and outside of target Third Stage: Cleanup or Complete destruction of the facility ' s moving and non-moving equipments; eternally and externally

Third Lesson Security and Intelligence

It is important for Muslims to make arrangements for proper security and intelligence, because these tasks are very special. In this day and age, the need for such methods is twice as important because of the evolving tactics of the enemy.

Page 18: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

Security and Intelligence consist of two elements: protecting and spying. Theoretical view.:. Understanding the Rules and regulations for creating an Intelligence Bureau Practical view: Taking measures in initiating new methods for creating safety and surveillance organization. Definition of Security.:. To ensure the safeguarding of a nations ' confidential sources from the enemy's interference. Definition of Intelligence.:. A collection of all info and revealing tasks which are put to use for a particular nation, special group or a special person to reveal a special secret for the purpose of endangering the existence of those individuals or nation. The importance of Security and Intelligence: Protection and intelligence are the initial stagef for a war and putting these methods to proper use is a guarantee for success because of these it works both ways, you can perform a surprise attack or you can avoid one of theirs.

PAGE 20 OF 81 1 Protection and intelligence keep a nation, a so ,iety, and/or a person totally aware of his safety until he thinks through his plans for pre~arations and putting them to use and until he comes face to face with his enemy. Protec1ion and intelligence provide strength for completing proper planning. If there are weaI<4esses in protecting intelligence, the tasks will result in failure, which will cause the loss ftrength and endurance.

Protection and spying is important as it is prescribed by Allah in "Quran" and in Shari 'a (Islamic laws): Every Muslim must stay away from gossiping, spying and profanity. If you catch some one who spies Muslims ' secrets to the infidels, you must reveal his identity to others. Allah mentions in Quran: 0' people of faith, you shall not betray God, His Prophet and/or each other. If one believes in God and the Day of Resurrection, he/she will not reveal Muslims' Secrets to the Pagans. Ifwe follow Quran precisely, it will keep us safe from all harms in this life and in eternity. Protection and Spying draws a line between excessiveness and dissipation

PAGE 21 OF81

It is more important than strength and tools for Muslims to keep their operations secrets from the enemies till their plans succeed. The basic essential for every operation's completion is secrecy. There must be a balance of what to disclosed and what not to be revealed to others before hand. Naturally, openly inviting people to Islam and performing your missionary duties differ from disclosing secretes of Military and lihadi operations against the enemy. Regardless

Page 19: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

of rank, status, age and sex, it the duty of every Muslim to keep his/her eyes and ears open and his/her mouth under control.

It's essential for every individual/society to gather as much information as they could to safeguard themselves from the harm of the enemy. Every effort must be made to be aware of every moves and conspiracies the enemy will try to use against Muslims.

Just as it is stated in the holy Quran for Muslims to have moral values, this is also proven in Hadeeth which is an indication for Muslims to be aware of their whereabouts. The Prophet Mohammad (May peace be upon him) has ordered in this regard as follows: For example, those who have faith in Allah and the Day of Judgment should accept it & do what God has ordered. The important thing about a Muslim's faith is that he should not care about the monitory values of this life, but to think about the rewards of his actions in eternity . . In another place, the Prophet has said "Taking care of his needs in a secretive manner." If a Muslim believer acts upon the aforementioned orders of Allah Almighty and His Prophet, at the day of eternity, God and His prophet will forgive all of his sins.

Fundamental principles of security

It is a difficult issue to bring security within a btructure, but it is every person's and every community's responsibility to take care of their security concerns. They need to know the basics and act upon them. Also, they should be aware of enemy's plans and know their history and current information and intelligence, and should follow the path of their personal safety.

First Rule: Be vigilant and aware: .

It is God, the Almighty ' s command that: Eve~ Muslim is obligated to take care of his personal safety as well as the security of his rdIigion and the society he lives in. It' s his religious duty. I

Also, it is a Muslim's responsibility to be, always, alert and vigilant, so the enemy could not attack him unexpectedly and based on the conditions, everything is under his control. Similarly, self-protection is every Muslim' s duty as well as the protection of his family, faith and the society he lives in.

Prior to going to bed, before leaving home, whether on a trip or at home, it is necessary to protect important items because, in today's world every minute is considered a time of war for the Muslims.

It is always recommended to be careful and aware of oneself because sudden accidents could happen, which could be the cause of impairment and harm for a person and his friends/colleagues. Vigilance is necessary for reaching the highest level of security, which every Muslim has be aware of and should get enough information, especially helpful information.

Page 20: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

For example, to know about the conditions of other Islamic countries and for that reason utilizing newspapers, radio, television, and books written about them. In terms of radio, it is necessary to listen to radio's like: B.B.C., Voice of America, Voice of Germany, and other necessary publications because a lot of information could be obtained from them.

Also, keep in contact with lihadi friends, sharing information with one another, commenting on issues, and getting information from those friends and individuals who are recently released from enemy's detention or interrogation. By doing so, your information/knowledge will be increased and enhance experience, and they will be always helpful for alertness.

PAGE 22 OF81

Second Rule: Abstinence and treatment: Abstinence means keeping one's self, works, plans, and precautions from the eyes, ears, and hands of the enemy; and treatment means keeping shortcomings and weaknesses away which have caused, or may cause danger.

, !

For this reason, it is necessary for a Muslim to l avoid getting unnecessary information, and should focus on useful things, based on need.

It is essential for a leader or the person in charge to inform his colleagues about any less and more important news; and if he assigns a task to an individual, he should give him the information necessary for the fulfilling of the task, not to inform him of the whole plan or program. This way, the secrets will not be spread outside. Works will not be revealed, and plans and programs will not be deemed to failure.

Since receiving and giving information in advance is not good, similarly receiving information afterward is also cause problems and damage. Therefore, in the proper time, receiving special information and spreading it to others is essential and necessary, especially information pertaining to that of a special issue or person.

Informing one' s self and friends is necessary under the following circumstances: 1. When operations against the enemy are about to begin or already have been

completed. 2. When the enemy is completely ready and vigilant about detention of friends. 3. When the authorities are detaining Muslims in large numbers.

Third Rule:

Having control over good and bad habits and dropping bad habits. Most things people do habitually are copying other people' s behaviors such as eating, drinking, socializing, sleeping, waking up, speaking or talking, laughing, etc.

Page 21: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

People working for God the Almighty and His religion have their own habits and methods which separate them from the rest. Also there are such habits which could cause difficulties for a Muslim's safety and accomplishing their duties. Those habits may have been obtained during a life time and there is no need for disowning them. If a Muslim is detained by the enemy due to these habits, gaining his freedom becomes difficult.

Fourth Rule: Coming up with an organized system to safeguard yourself and your society:

The link between the Security of a Nation and its Intelligence Bureau

This is a concept outside the frame of a nation's Geo-Political territory. This a way of protecting its interests, because there might be individuals in every government and private organizations, who might be working for the interests of other countries (the enemy).

Types of Intelligence Bureaus of a Nation

Governments count on and trust those departments and agencies which are established for the protection of their country and their people. For example, it is cities ' governments ' duty to have such a system in place, which protects the ordinary people ' s rights. Also, for the efficient governing of domestic affairs enforcing safety and security, they establish such an underground entity which works in secrecy, is guarantor of country and its people, and works for the advantage of domestic and foreign policies.

;

PAGE 23 OF81

At the same time, there is another bureau who works under cover to monitor and make sure the regime is secure from the harm of domestic and foreign enemies; and all affairs are accomplished properly.

Gienerally for the protection of a country, the following regimes are in place: 1 - Armed Forces: They have three branches:

1) Ground Forces 2) Navy and 3) Air Force Their duty is to fight a war against an enemy and to protect the homeland and its people.

2 - The second division of armed forces consists of the following forces: 1) Police 2) Security Police 3) Capital Police 4) Military Police 5) Rangers and 6) Reserve Police. Their duty is the enforcement of law and order inside the country and protecting the people and the homeland.

3 - The military intelligence bureau:

Page 22: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

These organizations are subordinates to the ministry of defense and consist of members of three branches of the armed forces. The purpose of these organizations is to safeguard military secrets, spy against the enemies and obtain their military secrets and other disruptive activities. For example: KGB, RA WI, MOSAD, MIS, CIA, lSI, etc.

4 - The domestic intelligence bureau:

These organizations are subordinate to the Ministry ofInterior Affairs and they spy inside the country on people' s political, religious, and financial affairs such as FBI, CIA, cm, IB, etc. Theses organizations obtain intelligence through their spies and have full authority to arrest and interrogate people.

. 5 - The foreign intelligence orga][liza!: ions:

The control of these organizations is in the ha d of heads of states. Their purpose is to get information on domestic and foreign affair , such as spying inside the military and civilian court systems, security and intelligenc organizations, and collecting information

outside the country from the traitors. I i

All governments outside their countries trust those places and centers where they can collect information, and control their employees. Some oftheir examples are mentioned below:

1. Embassies and consulates - especially the visa offices 2. Through mass media and publication offices, such as newspapers, radio,

television, internet, telephone, cable network, etc. 3. Through commerce and business offices and corporations such as oil refinery

companies, road and building construction companies, manufacturing companies of military hardware, food and beverage companies, agriculture and scientific centers, etc.

4. Through humanitarian organizations, relief agencies, and cultural and social associations

5. Through educational institutions such as universities, schools, and training centers 6. Through film and drama production centers

The important persons who could be used as spies

1. A political prisoner, especially the first time detained prisoner 2. A regular criminal such as murderer, thief, etc. 3. Regular worker such as a taxi driver, owner of a hotel and his employees, laborer,

beggar, barber, seller of cigarettes and snuff, doctor, peon, owner ofP.C.O. [TC: Public Call Office], newspaper vendor, garbage collector, etc.

4. Religious and political organizations' employees, factory workers, schools' students, Mosques' Mullah, etc.

Going on a trip and safeguarding one's self and his belongings:

There are two types of trips: 1) Domestic 2) Foreign Governments have established, inside and outside of countries, such systems through which they take advantage of special ambitions and objects. Because of that, it is necessary for a Muslim Mujahid to find out ambitions and plans of such governments, and with strong knowledge and bluntness avoid becoming part of their lists of targets or recruits .

Necessary preparation for domestic travel:

1. Selection of transportation and route 2. Choosing a good excuse and appearance

PAGE 25 OF81

1) Choosing the right transportation and trar el route: It is necessary to choose such a path and road thftt are less used by the police and other government officials; similarly, the trip should s~art from unofficial stop and end in unofficial stop. I

2) Make special arrangement and have acceptable excuses for travel: Those are the arrangements and excuses, adopting them by a Mujahid could safe him in time of difficulties with the police and other gOt~ernment officials. It is necessary that a Mujahid embraces such reasons and preparatio s, which are not so attractive to the police and government officials such as:

1. Preacher: Pretending to be a preacher b carrying sleeping bag, religious ook, praying beads, tooth brush, cologne, etc.

2. Scholar: Introducing yourself as a religious scholar and keeping religious books with you, and behalf and talk like scholars.

There is war staged against Muslims and Islam in international level, and our own and foreign governments are equally participating in it; therefore, it is necessary to be cautious about foreign trip. There are many security measures about foreign trips but we mention a few necessary one:

1. Those employees and persons accused by governments are discouraged from taking foreign trips because the governments' intelligence services may have relayed information regarding those individuals to Interpol and airports' authorities.

2. It is necessary for taking a foreign trip, to get visitor, business, work, and student ' s visa and adjust yourself based on the qualification.

3. There is no special rule and regulation for traveling to Islamic countries; only it is necessary to transform yourself as an ordinary person.

4. A person traveling to non-Islamic countries should adapt to such behavior and activities, which do not look too Islamic and religious. Similarly, he should not possess such documents and items, which could create complications such as lihadi and military books, CDs, etc.

PAGE 26 OF 81 i

Governments' Bureaus collect their i1telligenCe in the following ways:

1. They train one of their agents for working in particular organization and collect information for them.

2. The spy convinces an employee of the organization to spy against the employers for the governments.

3. Surveillance, investigation, secret research, searches, etc.

If an organization wants to be immune from government's intelligent bureaus interferences, then shonld do the following:

1. Should safeguard organization' s assignments and agreements 2. Should protect organization' s employees and workers

The safeguard of organization' s matters is the verification of organization ' s matters and agreements and protecting and safeguarding the organization's secret; and the protection of organization employees is the method in which the organization's workers' minds are protected from enemy' s propaganda and misinformation. PAGE 31 OF81

Definition of weapon:

Sixth Lesson Weapon

It's a means of war that can eliminate any live and moving target and kick it out of the battlefield.

GeneraHy there are three types of weapons: 1) Basic weapon 2) Compound weapons 3) Supportive Arsenal

1) Basic weapons: Are those weapons which are fundamental weapons by themselves and in time of use they suddenly fire, such as pistols, rifles, machineguns etc 2) Compound weapons: Are those weapons, which are made up of many other weapons such as tanks, armored vehicles, aircraft, etc.

3) Support weapons/equipment: Are those weaipons, which are not weapons by themselves but are used during war such as communication devices, telegram, etc.

Basic weapons ,are as follow: 1) Firearms: Are those weapons, which are powered by gas and gunpowder and fired from metal barrel ; and fire big shells and destroy the target in 'near or distant positions, such as rifles, machineguns, artilleries, etc. These weapons have two types: 1) Light and 2) heavy , Light ",,"eapons: are those weapons used by one person during fighting Heavy weapons: are those used by one or more persons

2) Atomic weapons: Are those made from atomic particles and their explosions causes major damage and are used by dropping from aircraft, firing by missile, or artilleries.

3) Chemical weapons: Are those weapons which are composed of chemical elements and used as different types of gases that cause devastation, such as tear gas, laughing gas, choking gas, (TC: illegible) gas, nerve agent/gas, bleeding agent/gas, and others. These weapons are used by aircraft or artilleries.

4) Biological weapons: Are those weapons which are used in forms of microbes and insects to inflict harm and are used as economic warfare against enemy.

In terms of usage and quality, the conventional weapons are two types, 1) Automatic 2) Non-automatic 1) Automatic: Is the quality of a weapon in which once a trigger is pulled, it does the rest of the task by itself such as forwarding bullets, ejecting bullet shells, making another bullet ready for discharge, and keeping its safety precaution; examples are pistol, machinegun, etc. 2) Non-automatic: Is the weapon which is not doing the entire task during usage rather the entire task is performed by the operator/gunner; and semi-automatic are those weapons, which perform some of the task by themselves and some others are performed by gunners - such as rifles, some artillery, etc.

Bullets: Is the part that gets its power from gas And gunpowder to reach the target..

In terms of its design, there are three types of bullets: 1. Cylindrical 2. Bushy 3. Conic

In terms of quality and effect, generally theJ are four types of bullets 1. Destructives I 2. Flammable I

3. Laser guided 4. Ordinary/simple

Natural causes, which influence the movement of bullets: 1. Very hot or very cold temperature 2. Wind, rain, snow, and strong wind 3. Inexistence of Earth Gravity

Unusual causes, which influence the movement of bullets: 1. The length of the chamber of the weapon 2. The mal-functionality of the weapon's, inside barrel 3. The least and the excessive amount of gunpowder inside bullets

Virtual and Military Provision of Weapon

1- It's necessary for every Muslim to wear a weapon and his only intention should be Jihad

2- It is prohibited to draw your weapon or point a gun to your Muslim brother. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has said: "He who draw a weapon to a Muslim brother is not one of us" and "God condemn those who point gun to another Muslim.

3- Playing with guns, leaving guns to the kids' disposal, and carrying a gun while there is no need for it, is prohibited.

4- Before use and after, a weapon must be cleaned up. S- Proper care must be given while loading and unloading a gun 6- A weapon must be kept in a safe place, away from dust, moisture and heat. 7- In order to keep a gun in good shape, it must be fired with on and off. 8- Gun must be lubricated and wrapped with plastic and kept away from the

reach of children 9- Proper lubricators must be used for clean ups

Using weapon: You can draw a gun in the following four ways:

1. In standing position 2. Sitting 3. Bending 4. While running

General Information about weapon: When it comes to the usage of weapon on inter 'ationallevel, two block: East and West are known. Eastern block consists of Old Sovi Union and its allies.

PAGE 33 OF81

The West block consists of United States and it European Allies. There are two types of weapons used to day:

1. Gun with binoculars/laser guided 2. The old fashion type.

Weather the weapon is light or heavy duty, we ust consider the following: 1. The place and date the weapon is made 2. Traditional and Military name ofthd weapon must be known. Normally the

name is taken from the mouth and length of the barrel, for example: 9mm, 82mm, 7Smm, 60mm or Makarov, TT, Kalashnikov, Kalakov etc.

3. You must know how to operate a weapon 4. You must know the numerical facts about a weapon. Distance of fire,

Destruction power, the weapon weight etc. 5. Knowing the parts of a weapon and their functions 6. Making a weapon ready to shoot with 7. If a gun jams during shootouts, you must the cause and how to fix it 8. You must also know how to align a gun.

Understanding some important types of weapon:

Pistol/handgun: Generally pistols are the semi-automatic conventional weapons, which are used for personal defense, guerrilla and urban warfare. Pistols have short barrel and is used for disabling the targets.

It is necessary to change position often to avoid detection of position by enemy.

Causes of Launcher Malfunction: l. If you pull the trigger and it does not fire, the cause might be: The round may not

have been placed properly. 2. If the flint does not spark it must be replaced 3. If the trigger-needle does not hit the round, it must be broken or bent 4. If the hummer malfunctions, it must be replaced 5. If the round does not fit the cylinder, clean the cylinder 6. Ifyol! pull the trigger and nothing happens, the needle must be replaced 7. i-Light 2-Medium 3- Heavy Some well known cannons are: 1- 75 mm cannon 2- 82 mm anti-tank 3- 82 mm Howitzer 4- BM 1 cannon From the above four types, the 82mm Howitzer round travels in the shape of a full half circle while other types travel V4 of a circle in the air. Also, the lower the barrel of the cannon, the shooting distance increases, while on other types of cannons it is the other way around.

Cannons' targets are two types: I Hidden 2 Obvious

And are set by Binoculars, Military Maps, GPS, Military Angles, and Compass There are three ways you can align a cannon to the target:

1. The circle 2. Wood 3. Angle

To fire a cannon, from four to seven people are needed. Artillery Cannons are used for two purposes:

1. To shoot and eliminate targets in the air 2. To shoot and eliminate targets in on the ground

To operate artilIery arsenals, one must remember and use the table. To find out the distance Tom Milliohm and degrees are used .

The 75 mm no-kick back cannon: This is one of the best types, because it is easily portable and works under any weather condition. Four persons can carry it around. Necessary information is obtained in the following way:

Lessons on HowitzerlMortar: This weapon is loaded and unloaded from the mouth of the barrel, and used to eliminate moving and non-moving targets with full half circle round movements. For the first time in 1915, this weapon was manufactured by a British Engineer and many others country quickly started making it. France made their version of Mortar 60mm; in 1939

There are three types of Mortars: 1. Light 2. Medium 3. Heavy

Most Russian made mortars are: 60mm and 82mm Most American made mortars are: 120mm and 81 mm China and Egypt have also made 82mm mortars too.

82 mm Mortars

This is the most basic type of mortars. It is easy to understand how to work it. It is also light and easy to transport. It can be broken into three parts for mobility purposes. Important parts of82mm: Name: 82mm mortar

"'''!'' .. ''. '' " ,,,, ,, .'''''' Getting ready to fire an 82 mm: I 1. First we will put the crown of the gun pn a soft ground facing the target. 2. We put the gun barrel inside the crowq facing the target 3. Make an angle of20-3- degree betweeh the ground and the crown of the gun 4. The legs of the stand must have equal tlistances in between 5. The distance between the legs and the bottom of the crown must be between 1 to

3 meters 6. The chains of the legs must be untied 7. Vertical dividers must be 10 TOM andl 0 milliohm 8. Horizontal dividers must be 30 TOM and 0 Milliohm

PAGE 48 OF81

9. The legs must be leveled horizontally 10. Vertical level must be adjusted by the wheel 11. Vertical and Horizontal adjustment must be made 12. Distance from the target must be determined by the table in the manual

Then we can fire: Two types of shooting can be done with 82mm: 1. Obvious 2. Hidden

Obvious Shooting: When you can see the target from the firing point and the binocular + sign hits the target, it is called obvious shooting. Hidden: When Target is not visible from the shooting point and mountains, hills or building can block the target. GPS is used to determine the location of the target.

How to correct a situation when the gun hits at the right or left sidles of the target: 1. Make sure all of your adjustments are precisely match the table 2. Using the binocular of the gun, adjustments must be made

Malfunction: 1. It might ajam inside the barrel and the needle can not reach the round

Page 53: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

2. Make sure security switch is unlocked and OT is on IN position 3. The round bottom might be damaged 4. The needle might have broken inside the barrel

Observation: In case of a jam, you must carefully take the round offthe barrel and correct the problem Liquid lubricant must be used to clean up the gun after each use, otherwise at lease twice a year. The flint must be kept away from moisture. You can leave it under the sun to dry Make sure the gun legs are place firmly on the ground.

Note: Egyptian made 82mm hit the targets as far as 4200 to 5400 meters. It is critical to use the rounds made for that type of 82mm to be safe.

Communication is receiving and sending information from one point to another. It can also be used for detonating bombs remotely

Types of Communication:

Physical structure of the communication means are two: 1. Large systems 2. Small Portable systems

From the quality point of view, there are three types: 1. Excellent 2. Very good 3. Good

Small Portable types are: 1. Kenwood 2. leom 3. Walkie-Talky 4. Motorola

Good communication ' s radios can be distinguished by durability, strength of signal connections and the ones consume the least b~tteries

How to use one: Radios are weak compared to other communi9ations systems but they can be very useful in combat and war situations I

Advantages: 1. Your intentions must be purely beneficial to use the system 2. To easily contact with your team 3. The best way to get hold of your men quickl

Disadvantages: 1. Can be detected by the enemy 2. Can be interfered

The following are some points to be considered while using this communication item:

1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

6.

7.

Try to record all facts carefully. Stand away from the waves of the wind while talking Do not use the equipment to talk to your friends and relatives in the public Clear connection between the wiring and the target object is necessary Time setting is very important; otherwise you are wasting the explosive and missing the target. Hold the system still for better reception At the time of communication, dialing 1 1 1 * buttons for five to six times to make sure the battery is functioning Use less time while communicating, to eliminate long conversations

Page 63: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

8. After every operation change the batteries.

PAGE 55 OF81

9. There should be some time delays between each operation 10. Do not keep the equipment on while not used 11. Do not mention your real name on the air 12. While walking, do not use the equipment 13. Always keep the manual with you in case you have to refer to it 14. Adjust all programmed info on the equipment carefully 15. When you feel the battery is warmed up, replace it with new battery

Note: Using a system is not very difficult, but it does require sufficient knowledge

! Introducing ICOM RKV8:

This one also has a screen to show the numbers. You can use s size ofthe numbers you prefer by adjusting the size you feel comfortable using. Large numbers starts from 136 to 174.1 Small numbers are from zero to 998 These are the frequencies adjustments:

1. Unlock the machine to function bY ,pushing the red button 2. Dialing D button turns the equipmdnt to normal functioning status. At this

time you can use the MR Button tob. 3. If you want to register a number for example: 173665; first dial D then dial

your frequency or 173665. Hold it on A &C for one second, the number is recorded. There are 0 to 99 channels on the ICOM

4. To choose a channel first 1-8 then the C-3 buttons are dialed. After that to use the same number, we can use the button MR and 401

5. There are two types of numbers on the system: a. Matured numbers which are pre-recorded and b. Immature//special numbers which are not recorded

6. 1. Mature numbers which can brought up on the screen by using MR Button 2. Immature numbers are those not pre-recorded, but could be recorded on the system.

7. When you dial 801 on the screen of the system the sign I which is indicator of weak battery too. If you see the key sign, then the system is locked and not functioning; but does receive calls. You can touch any number, the system is activated again.

Eighth Lesson Remote Control

It ' s a tool used to control a system from far distance. Military remotes have their own General and Specific numbers which is used to cause explosions electronically. While the shape of remote controls varies, they all function the same way.

Remote control Battery for reduction

Page 71: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

Operating procedure of a remote:

"Green bulb which . stays on for 15 minutes after the battery is locked

1. Before starting the task, it is important to test the equipment to make sure it is not short circuited or damaged.

2. It is important to have a sign or mark at the location where the remote bomb will be placed such as a tree, a stone or a foundation which can be observed from a distance.

3. You should be able to place the remotelwith the bomb and bury it. 4. The Remote ' s antenna must be 1 or 2 feet above the ground and the rest must be

underground and covered with soil. 5. The remote batteries must be new and they must be attached to the remote at the

end ofthe task. 6. There are two types of batteries one is 9 volts and the others are 12 volts, these

batteries work from three to seven days. 7. For completing the task do your own surveillance and do not trust anyone else. 8. The remote and the battery flash should be hidden away from the location where

the task will be carried out so that it wi~1 not be detected by the enemy. 9. The remote and other components shou~d be wrapped in a plastic bag to protect it

from water and getting wet. I

10. When completing a task which involves explosion, keep a distance of 1 kilometer to 1 Y2 kilometers and for an open field keep a distance of up to 4 kilometers.

11. First install the General Number, then the specific number 12. A task which involves explosions can take place at a location when the enemy

transports are at a slow motion, such as.

Stopped Com ing down Going up on a hill

Page 72: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

13. At the time of explosion set the communication' s radio ' s volume to the highest volume possible and replace the batteries with new ones.

14. When the enemy is in the proximity ofi200 meters of the explosion location then you should start pressing the numbers. i

15 . When the vehicles ' first (tires) crosses the bomb, you should dial the last digits of the number. j

16. After the explosion if the situation is b4d then you should take out the batteries from the radio and bury them and ifth~ situation is not so bad then you should take yourself to safe location.

17. In case if you make a mistake in entering the correct numbers then you have to enter all the numbers from the beginning and in case if you missed the target vehicle, then you have to enter incorreQt number.

18. After putting batteries in the remote, thhe is a (15) minutes time available. 19. Canon rounds and ammunition can be used to cause bombs to explode. 20. In order for the enemy not to be able to jam the remote, we bury the remote

separate from the explosives and add Primer-Guard [TC: Anti-jamming element]

Causes why a remote control bomb will not detonate:

1. The enemy jamming the remote or damaging it. 2. Damaged flint 3. Damaged or old batteries. 4. The distance between the bomb and the remote control 5. Damaged radio or weak batteries. 6. Improper cable connections or broken wiring 7. Damage to the equipment due to rain or water. 8. Damaged to the bomb or the gunpowder.

Ninth Lesson Gunpowder

Page 73: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

Gun powder is a Chemical Compound which can cause explosion due the effect of pressure or damage and changing to strong gas and explode.

Types of Gun-powder There are two types of gun powders:

1. Strong 2. Weak

There are three types of Strong-Gun-Powder: 1. Primary Explosive: This is the detonator gun powder which explodes by

itself and creates secondary explosions, like Mercury Filament, Lead Iodize, Silver Iodize, Acetone-Para oxide, Hexamine-Para Oxide.

2. Secondary Explosive: This type of powder detonates with Primary Explosive, like: Picric-Acid CPA), PETN, RDX and tri-nitro phenol (TNP.

3. Compound Explosive: This is type from the kind of central gun-pOWder which creates high heat and strong noise at the time of explosion, and it's destructive power is high. The detonator causes the explosion, like: TNT, dynamite, C3, C4, Nitro-Cotton etc

Weak gun-powder: This type is used to push to fly the rounds into the air, like: Nitro-cellulose, Bleak powder etc. i Gun-powder and other explosive material normally explode by:

1. Heat 2. Damage 3. Rubbing

PAGE650F81 '

Good Gun-Powder must have the following l haracteriStiCs: 1. Must be extra sensitive against any !foreign pressure 2. Must have at least the explosion power of 5000 m/sec 3. Strong destructive power 4. Must extra resistant against water and moisture 5. Can operate with ordinary flint 6. It must have appropriate color and volume for transportation blockage

The purpose for using gunpowder and explosives: Gunpowder and explosives are used to achieve the following purposes.

1. To destroy objects 2. Start fire 3. Smashing rocks to smaller pieces 4. To cut objects 5. To displace objects

Names ofthe most popular gunpowder:

Page 74: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

C4, C3, RDX, T.N.T, dynamite etcetera.

To know the various types of explosives, you must know that the explosive speed of TNT is 6000/second and it's measured in kilograms. TNT is used in many types of bombs.

The Wick

Wick (gunpowder ropel

Fuse or gunpowder ropes come in tow different types: 1. Slow wick 2. Fast wick

I. Slow wick (bums in seconds): this WiC~ contains black materials which is powder like, (2) it bums one centimeter in a se~ond (1 crnl6sec) and it can be ignited with matches. The best wicks are the ones J hich are soft with an oily texture and similar to an electric wire. 1

."

Slow wick Method of making bleak powder:

1. A fixed amount of ingredients are grinded separately 2. Then add them together in a bowl and mix them 3. Then we will put it on fire and kee~tirring it till changes to solid element 4. Using a screen, drain the moisture r d leave it under the sun till it dries.

Fast Wicks (Cortex) : These are made from very sensitive powders and are ignited by flints. The explosion speed is 8000m/sec. It is used in most types of bombs. The color is red or yellow.

Fast speed wicks PAGE 66 OF81

Page 75: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

Detonators: There are two (2) different types: 1. Ordinary 2. Electric

Ordinary: This is composed of elements which enhance the detonators and on the inside it contains a wick (burns in seconds) and matches can be used to detonate it.

Electric: This is composed of one primary and one secondary explosive which can be ignited by electric power

Note: For Five kilogram (SKg) gunpowder to explode one detonator is enough, if the material is increased it should not need anymore detonators to make it explode.

Using flint to make time bombs:

1. Using long wick (burns in seconds) in basic explosives 2. To test the strengths of the acid, a few drops of matches' material need to be

placed in a plastic capsule, if it catches fire then it should be okay. 3. Using electronic clocks as a flint, special Azan Clock (TC: prayer clock), one of

the speaker line should be attached to the flint.

-,.. .... i ... rf-------,

... Electronic Flint

Important instruction for dealing with gunpowder:

Ordinary Flint

Detonator

1. Having enough knowledge about the most popularly used gunpowder and knowing their specific structure and how work with them.

2. Taking good care of the gun powders during transportation from one point to another.

3. Do not place and transport flints and gunpowder at the same time. 4. Do not mix different types of gunpowder.

Page 76: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

5. Do not place gunpowder and explosives in residential areas. 6. Keep the gunpowder away from getting wet and do not mix them with soil. 7. Do not handle gunpowder with hand and do not smell it. 8. Use the exact amount of gun powder in a project. 9. Before starting the task, doing a thorough test of the wick, flint and detonator. 10. At the time of explosion; keep yourself away at a safe distant location.

Hand Grenades

Definition:

Hand grenades are made from steel and plastic containers with explosive being placed inside them. The detonated by flint. Since they are small and easy to carry and have tremendous explosive power, strong enough to disable movable and non-movable targets. They can be launched by hand. There are two types of grenades:

1. Defensive 2. Offensive

i 1. Defensive: These are made from solid steel with tremendous destructive

power. It is used to defend you against the enemy. 2. Offensive: These are made of light soft iron and its destructive power is less

than defensive grenades. These are used at an offensive operation against the enemy.

MINES

Literally mine means to block or stop and in Military term, mines are made from plastic or steel in small and large sizes which have explosive elements inside of them and are used to eliminate any moving and non-moving targets. There are made from three parts:

1. The body 2. Placed gun powder in it 3. the needle flint system

Two ways mines can be operated:

1. By pressure 2. By connected wire

Page 79: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

Types of Mines: There are three types of mines:

1. Personnel mines 2. Anti-Tank 3. Noise or Light making mines

1. Anti-Personnel Mines:

These are used to eliminate the enemies ' soldiers . They are used on the enemy's travel rout. When some one's foot hits the mine or foot is trapped in the wiring, the explosion takes place.

2. Anti-Tank mines: These are used to destroy the enemy's tank, so they are hidden on the streets and roads. When the tank weight pressures the bomb, it explodes and destroys the tank.

3. Noise Making or Lightning Bombs: These are operated by pull wire. At the time of explosion it makes loud noise and makes light to keep himself awake. These bombs are mainly used in the border lines where illegal border crossing takes place.

Places mines are used:

Mines are used on the mountains, deserts, forests, oceans, or any where the enemy keeps his arsenals and military forces.

The Advantages of Using Mines

Page 80: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

1. Mine is a type of weapon can be used any where to eliminate the enemy. 2. Quick action and immediate results 3. Informs you from the enemy attacks 4. It is the best watch man 5. Disturbs the enemy physically and mentally

Precautions: 1. At the battlefield, you must take good care of your mines and explosives, by

keeping them in a safe place, and during transporting them you must be very cautious

Tenth Lesson The learning of explosive materials

Having a complete knowledge of various types of explosive is mandatory for the success of Muslims Jihad against the infidels. We must be grateful to Allah for enabling us to learn and teach each other. If you know another way or better or more powerful way to harm the pagans more effectively, you must teach other Muslims to use your method. As a Muslim, I am teaching you the materials in this book. By Shari'a you no one else has the right to use what you learn here, against your personal enemies, relatives or for personal gain. The materials must be used only against the enemies of Islam. Otherwise, you will be carrying a big responsibility.

Although our mutual enemies are much pO\\ferful financially and militarily, and we can not compete with them face to face, but Allah has granted such ability to learn and use very low cost materials and make our own weapon which can be used against our enemies. There two ways we can equip our selves against the enemies ofIslam.

ll. Fortification: The science of using all already made explosives and equipments like: variety types of b~mbs and mines.

2. Art of making: This is the science lof making the explosives by your own hands and using them against the enemies. This could be a combination of already made and self-made arsenals. This science is much more powerful.

Dealing with these materials, we must be very Icareful. It could cost our lives if we make a single slight mistake. Before we go any further, we must talk about some precautions to be considered dealing these explosives.

Necessary security procedures

1. In this business your first mistake could be your last one, so it is important to use extra caution

2. It's necessary to be very organized. Useless materials must be cleaned up from the place of work and kept separately.

3. At the time of mixing materials, it is important to wear gloves and a mask. 4. It is important to know the special usage of each material to avoid any

unnecessary accidental casualties during our work.

PAGE 73 OF81

5. At the time explosion the materials or the detonator needs to be buried under ground.

6. At the time of the explosion no one else needs to be present at the location other then the person who needs to carry out the task.

Page 86: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

7. Sometime even taking enough precaution, an accident could occur, in such cases follow the guidelines below:

a. If an injury is caused because of the explosion, homeopathic medicine should be utilized for cure.

b. If there is an accident related to acids or chemical, it can be cured by washing off with water or taking a full shower.

c. If there is an incident while handling poisonous materials, it can be cured by applying milk or lemonade.

d. If at the time ofthe preparation the temperature of material rises above normal, it can be destroyed with water.

Definition of an explosion.:.

To change a solid or liquid element in a short period oftime to gas and releasing them with pressure, this causes an explosion such as pressure cooker explosion. The pressure can be monitored reduced and increased according to the force we try to generate for the explosion.

Almost in all explosive TNT is used. The powder is causing the explosion in this case. Hydrogen bomb explodes by atoms. Look at the example below:

The definition of explosive materials: This is one of those special collections of explosives which can cause to explode with a wick.

The explosives chart is built of three (3) elements:

1. Peroxide (02) 2. Nitro I Examples: Examples: I

1. Hydrogen Peroxide 1. Nitroglycerin 2. Acetone Peroxide 2. Nitro glycol 3. Hexam ine Peroxide 3. Nitrocellulose

3. Nitrate Examples:

1. Ammonium Nitrate 2. Lead Nitrate 3. Urea Nitrate

PAGE 74 OF81

Important instructions related to making explosive materials

1- For completing the task, the materials should be placed in a solid cookware such as pressure cooker or a cylinder.

2- Those materials which carry other gases with them must be purified from foreign mixtures than used for this purpose

3- For detonating the material, you need to mix the correct amount of detonators needed.

4- The tolerance of the flint must be known 5- Metal tools must not be used to crash the ingredients 6- The mixtures must thoroughly mixed 7- During the classes live examples and d~monstration must take place 8- All the tools used during the experimeI1ts must be cleaned and carefully dealt with 9- For practical purposes the ingredients must be prepared ahead of time 10- It is important to wash your hands and face with soap or take a shower after

handling the materials. , II-At the time of making the materials, the least dangerous ones should be handled

first to the most dangerous ones and then mixed together at the end. 12- While preparing the ingredients, the most dangerous materials must be mixed and

prepared last. j

Identifying the Primary and Secondary Explosives:

To identifY the primary and secondary explosive materials: Gunpowder explosions take place by mixing the primary and secondary explosives together. Sometimes only primary or secondary explosives can be used for explosion. Sometime an enhancer is used in the primary explosives or secondary explosives. In here a few of the primary explosives will be discussed as follows .

I-Acetone Peroxide

It is white powder in color with the temperature; injuries, friction, matches and acid can cause it to explode. It can explode in (5200m/sec) at (86°) temperatures, for safekeeping it can be placed under water and it can be made from three different materials.

Acetone: 100% Pure Acetone: 10 milliliter

Hydrogen Peroxide: 35% Pure Hydrogen Peroxide: 10 milliliter

Methods for obtaining acetone peroxide:

Sulfur Acid: 50% Pure Sulfuric acid 10 milliliter

1- The desired amount of hydrogen peroxide needs to be placed in a glass beaker which has to be placed in a frozen cookware and the temperature needs to be maintained between 5 to 10 degrees. Use a thermometer for checking the temperature.

Page 88: AFGP-2008-0000914 Batch number: 080807K-l Source …15. After learning the basics and preparation for Jihad one must take part in Jihad. Prophet Mohammad had said: "One who knows how

2- After that the desired amount of acetone needs to be placed little by little in a glass beaker, the temperature needs to be maintained at 10 degrees.

3- Once the acetone has been mixed then the desired amount sulfuric acid should be added drop by drop and the temperature should not be allowed to go above 10 degrees.

4- Once all three chemicals have been mixed well, then it should be placed in cold water in a cookware for 15 minutes. The temperature should be raised from 20 to 40° degrees.

5- When this mixture has cooled off the acetone can be separated as pieces of ice

PAGE 75 OF81

6- To eliminate the acidity of the acetone peroxide, this mixture (See diagram 298) with the help of Ph paper makes 8-7 green color proportionately. 7- The mixture will sets at the bottom of the test-tube and later mixed with water and

after purifications can be used at homes and businesses. 8- The obtained acetone peroxide is primary explosives and this is what we use for

our purpose, and keep it in a dry bottle.

I 2- Hexamine Peroxide

This is also white in color and can explode by raising the temperature. It can not be mixed in water and if the temperature is raised it can get damage. It can explode at the speed of 4500m/sec. The temperature should be kept 200 degrees and can be made of the following three different items mixed together.

Hydrogen Peroxide

45 Grams

Hexamine

16 Grams

Citric Acid

1. The desired amount of phenol needs to be placed in a beaker and sulfuric acid also needs to be added

2. Put a pot of water on a gas/propane heat source with the led open 3. When the water gets warm, place the phenol and sulfuric acid beakers for the

solution inside the water and continue tp keep it there for approximately half an hour. After that remove the beakers af):er being cooked for a brief period of time. The nitric acid w ill be added to this. Ohce this is added, it will start the chemical reaction which will cause different gas~s in the air, these gases are very dangerous and harmful one should protect him/he~-self from.

4. After the gases are separated, put the mixture on heat for approximately 2 hours. Let it cool off

5. Take some cold water in a separate test-tube and add the mixture to it. than an hour time, we can filter the mixture. It is ready for use.
