JOINT AFFIDAVIT

We, _______________________________, and ___________________________, of legal age, married, Filipino citizens, and residents of barangay ___________________, Don Carlos, Bukidnon, after having duly sworn to in accordance with law, do hereby depose and say:

1. That we are residents of this barangay for quite a long time already; and that we have been staying in this barangay uninterruptedly;

2. That we are familiar with every resident in this barangay, and we almost know every individual in this village;

3. That we are both active and have been actively involving in every political exercise or election, whether local and national, in our barangay;

4. That, it being so, we also know those who, like us, are active workers in every local and national elections in our barangay;

5. That we personally know our neighbor, the former Barangay Chairman Henry Lim of barangay San Nicolas, Don Carlos, Bukidnon; and that we know him as staunch, active and loyal political leader of the incumbent Municipal Mayor of this town, Hon. Felix S. Manzano in this coming May 13, 2013 National and Local Elections;

6. That we hereby file our protest against the appointment as PCOS technician/support staff of Mr. __________________, the brother of former Barangay Chairman Henry Lims brother-in-law;

7. That, while he may have met the minimum requirement of the said position, however, his established relationship by affinity with the former Barangay Chairman Henry Lim, will give rise to the high degree of presumption that the former will play partisan in favor of the latters candidate in this up coming elections, in the discharge of his duties and responsibilities, as such;

8. That in the light of the COMELECs thrust for a clean, honest and orderly National and Local elections come May 13, 2013, we strongly oppose said appontment, and that in view thereof, the above-mentioned person should be disqualified to serve as support staff/PCOS technician; and

9. That we are executing this affidavit freely and voluntarily to attest to the truthfulness and veracity of the foregoing statements and for whatever legal purpose this may serve.
